i say you dont see the movie and definitely do not get any of the capitalist knick knacks for sale that shamelessly plug this travesty of a film... More for me and one less person at the theater...
Looks like the plot is about the race to revive Sentinel Prime bec. Shockwave has already been revived earlier. After that you get the invasion from cybertron caused by the low birthrate of Cybertron and the aliens need cheap labor. The Cybertonians need to take sex and reproduction more seriously for a constant supply of cheap labor.
If the only thing holding you back from leaving the fandom is the possibility of DOTM having a decent plot, feel free to leave. Unless you found the previous two movies to be story-packed, I believe this one won't be terribly different.
Oh, you're gonna love the Plot, man. Shockwave is after the key to Vector Sygma, the Ark is actually Omega Supreme, Shockwave kills Megatron, lots of awesome shit happening.
I might have overreacted to the plot. Also it is good to know there is more plot. but I don't see why they would need anything on the Ark Prime could kill the hole Con army by himself. That dos't help my opion of the show. but still it would have to be more powerful than Unicron to stop movie Prime.
All depends on how you enjoy the fandom really. For me it's the toys, and the media second. So it'll take a toy catastrophe on a apocalyptic level for me to leave.
That would be DOTM toys. No, their not all bad. I do like the toys and I might stay coz people are saying there is more plot and I am hoping Megatron in TFP will bring a plot to drestroy the Bots that will last a series
hate to rain on everyone's poopoo parade over here but i got suckered into the amazon debacle yesterday. I can tell you for a fact, from a skeptical perspective myself after the catastrophe of a sequel, that if the movie follows even that BASIC track of events listed in that comic, you're gona leave the theater with your inner thighs covered w/ love juice.
