    They remind me of little Pat Lee doodles, their rounded designs, always squatting and bending their arms. I can't be the only one that sees this.

    Actually, it isn't the pictures (I will NOT call it art), it's the seriously idiotic people that make it and try to justify themselves. Anyone that delusional has got to be insane, and therefore disturbing.

    Well, let's just be rude and crude, shall we? A lot of shippers that I know aren't "insane and disturbing", they're actually very nice people who write and draw very well. Every fandom will have its shippers and slashers, but calling them all disturbed is going way too far. Just because it's got slash or romance in it doesn't mean it's not art.

    Rude and Crude? Well, on this topic I really don't give a damn how 'nice or talented' these people are. Pairing obviously non-pairable characters or adding that element (what'd you call it- romance?) that flies in the face of known franchise canon is downright unnecessary. If that's what it takes for some people to get their jollies, then all the more power to them. I just hate the fact that these 'people' make showing my nine-year-old daughter cool pictures of Pokemon on DA a contest in avoiding all the Ash fucking Pikachu pictures.

    Art is and always will be subjective. The techniques and abilities to make these pieces can be respected, but in my humble opinion, the artists need to do some research before continuing with their character assassinations.

    /rant.
    Don't try arguing with me. I'm very set in my opinion on this matter.
