I just put down an order for an MP-08 Grimlock, and I couldn't find the thread about modifying it. I seem to remember the figure requires at least 1 modification: at one point during the transformation, a screw rubs against a piece of chromed plastic, and this must be rectified.

I don't remember how this mod was done, because I did not own an MP-08 at the time and was not paying attention. I've gotten pretty used to modifying a toy after getting it (MP Starscream's wing-joint mod, HA Bumblebee's leg-swap mod, ROTF Prime's carve-out-a-release-groove-on-his-chest mod, etc).

Would it be all right if someone listed all the necessary mods to do on MP-08 Grimlock?

In robot mode, Grimlock's chromed tail can rub against a screw located on the inner side of each leg. You can:

    1. Cover the screws over with clear nail polish, or something else less abrasive, or

    2. Remove both screws and file them down.

Just a couple pieces of tape over the screws will do the trick.

use the 3M removable tape to spare yourself
the grief of dealing with sticky residue when you remove the tape.
