Was the elephant scene not suppose to be in the movie at all?

That's just the tip of the iceberg, man. I've heard stories of dolphins committing rape. Chimps wage genocidal wars, going cannibalistic on other troops' kids. Cannibalism in general is untaboo in the animal kingdom. There's a species of wasp that reenacts the xenomorph's lifestyle on spiders and caterpillars.

It doesn't matter why they do it, only that they do it. Yggdrasil's got it right; nature's real color ain't green, boys and girls, it's blood red. Or as I like to put it, Mother nature is a vicious, cruel, sadistic, uncaring bitch.

I'm actually GLAD that that scene wasn't in the film. Even though I eat meat, I don't like seeing animals get killed. And I would NEVER hunt for game or POACH!
