The full series that is. So basically I want to know if the full series, Micron Legend, was ever fansubbed. If anyone can shed more info on the subject, that'd be great.

I'm interested in watching the series again because I only saw Armada but I had read somewhere that the story was partially changed sometimes and Micron Legend had superior animation in some scenes.

And Mods, if this discussion is against the rules then lock away. I'm not sure because open discussion of Cybertron and Galaxy Force torrents seem to be okay.

 

Not to my knowledge, but I'd love to see a fansub!

 

I have two subbed episodes; the first one and the one that introduced Devastar. Both were done by different groups, but they haven`t done more episodes AFAIK.

 

Man I would have loved to have that one subbed by the Tv-nihon crew

 

Well, TV Nihon have said they are planning to do it at some point. Apparently Car Robots is coming first, and they are currently doing Victory, so I'd imagine it'll be done after those two. I'm sure J3 or Cyberdramon, if they see this topic, might confirm that.

Victory is done as is Masterforce. The one they haven't finished is headmasters.

Headmasters are finished some months ago. TV-Nihon fansubbing Car Robots now. Maybe Micron Legend will be next, but not earlier than 2011, apparently.

 

Seriously, I want to know when they are going to continue Car Robots. They stopped on Ep 04 some time ago. But god forbid you ask on the boards or they'll rip you a new one and ban you for life, or something worse 

 

I also would like them to continue Car Robots. I undestand they have a lot of extra work to do too.

 

From what I see, they're juggling too many projects. Kamen Rider-wise, they stopped their DVD releases of Faiz/555 at Episode 8, and instead started on another series (Kuuga)...

Instead of finishing a series, they're starting on other series.

 

Tell me about it!! I asked a question a few years ago and was treated like a lowlife piece of scum for asking if they were going to sub the MagiRanger teamup special... it was basically "We sub what we want to sub when we feel like it."

 

The thing is TV Nihon and their TF subs are highly dubious. Super Link has a terrible fansub and they all have swearing in them even though what is actually spoken barely resembles a swear word.

I appreciate all their hard work though, its just some of the translations are poor.

 

Nothing pulls you out a show faster than having Scorponok suddenly bellow "Don't fuck with me!"

 

TBH, that would make me watch it more. I would like if all the TF Japanese shows were resubbed with gratuitous swearing

Actually, on a slightly less/more serious note, now there are Headmasters, Masterforce and Victory box-sets with reasonable subs, does anyone actually prefer the fansubs?

So you people want to watch Armada again, in a language you can't understand, but reading text that may not actually be translations of the actual dialogue?
