I'm mentally drooling just thinking of a voyager G1 redux of Galvy. They've come close to re-creating him in the past with the Energon Galvatron, but a jet < psycho cannon.

I don't know that they said for sure 100 percent but Hasbro did bring it up, to my knowledge anyway.

G1 Galvy is one of my favorite designs. As cool as Energon Megs/Galvy was, an even more accurate representation would be, quite simply, the shit

That model kit is deluxe sized. It's likely that it might the prototype for his bot form.

From what I heard, he was supposed to be an "Ultra"... whatever that means. I guess this means he's getting lights and sounds or something. It will be interesting to see if they pump out more season 3 figures like Cyclonus or Blurr/Wheelie.

I'm all for Season 3, hell, even 4, characters, especially Cyclonus! He totally needs a modern day interpretation. That Botcon Jetstorm repaint is cool and all, but a sleeker looking version of the original design than the G1 toy (that everyone would have a better chance of having) would just kill.

As for the Autobots I think Kup is pretty deserving of an update, but that's just me

Brakedown GTS is the closeest to Kup him and Energon Towline.

That model kit is not related to Hasbro/Takara in any way.

Yes but they're still not complete updates of G1 Kup in the same way Classics Starscream is an update of G1 Starscream. I mean I'd like to see a figure made only with G1 Kup in mind, and sold as that specific character.

And Towline works more as Skids

Well, the Brakedown toy was designed after War Within Kup, so it's not just the deco. But yeah, with all the altered details and such, he doesn't resemble Kup too much in the end.

I know Brakedown was based on WW Kup, which again, is not G1 Kup. I just want a new G1 based deluxe Kup figure meant only to be that character.

Anyway this thread is about Galvatron :(

I could get behind a Classics/Universe Galvatron, Cyclonus too.

Can someone define the difference between "confirmed" and "strongly hinted at"? :)  Most of the Botcon reports I had seen say stuff along the lines of the Hasbro guys saying "We'd like to do" or "We're wanting to do". While that counts as a confirmation for the people who translate "it's unlikely but not impossible" to "It'll be on shelves in August", I'd like to hear something a little more obvious.

    ...or from Kickback. :)

When I was reading the Botcon reports I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be a Galvatron in Universe/Classics, or Animated to be honest, but I do assume it was Universe
