that's a really subjective question. you should start by looking at molds YOU really like, and from there figuring out which ones will work together to make a good combined mode, taking into account size and lengths of the limb modes, etc. Then you can modify them if necessary to look the part.

what kind of teams are they, animal, jets, cars?

i have started a few combiners and made plans for others, i would suggest you decide what scale you want to use before you decide the bots, example 1 voyager and 4 deluxe or 1 deluxe and 4 basic. if you are going for 1 deluxe and 4 basic the energon combiners could be a good starting point.

And if you don't feel ready for actual kitbashing (you did specifically say 'repaint', but I don't know how set you are on that), then I'd definitely look at the Energon combiners as starting points, since at least then you already know they'll combine properly, and you then just need to worry about making them look how you want them.

As Red said, though, you've not really given us much to go on; the names alone tell us nothing. If you can come up with a more solid idea of what you actually want, then it'll be a lot easier to help you with ideas.

Agree! Plus the Energon combiners will allow you to mix and match team members freely.

Well, you're going to have a bugger of a time with your Piracons - I have a feeling that's going to have to be some pretty advanced kitbashing, since you've got a bunch of very specific altmodes in mind. And for the most part, if there even is an existing 'bot of that type available, you'll need to do a ton of work to make a decent combiner out of it. And it's a seven-man combiner; that's a completely new design to be worked out; there isn't even precedent to help work out how you might configure it.

The Warribots should be relatively easy, though.
Your big jet could be Energon Storm Jet, helicopter is Blackout/Dust Storm, tank is Kickback/Blight, small jet is Treadshot/Windrazor, and the biplane could be modded, probably without too much hassle, from Sky Shadow/Terradive.
All completely compatible and already designed to combine.

i am planning on making my seacons into a 7 man combiner, i am using the 7th member as a weapon for combined robot, this could work if the cobra transformed into a sword or some type of spear thing.

Well, looking at the obvious exponents of the required beast modes:

Cobra: BWN Cohrada or BM Nightstrike

TO Bull: No idea offhand; BW Bonecrusher is a buffalo; I suppose he might be moddable

    TM2 Cheetah: Cheetor, presumably.

Raptor: One of the Dinobots, or possibly Cybertron Undermine/Repugnus.

Wolf: BW Wolfang, or a for a more tech version, Cyb Snarl.

Spider: A version of either Tarantulas or Blackarachnia.

    TM2 Dragon: Megatron/Cryotek.

    I'm mean Technoganic Bull.

I'm so used for colors for the Warribots are used Toa Mata's Colors and Piracons are used Piraka's Colors.

Piracons are not a combing team.
