I am not going to assume the circumstances that would need to take place for this to happen. Lets just say that not everyone has an e-bay account.

This makes perfect sense.... I cannot count the times when I've ordered on HTS, then found the stuff in the store the next day. The worst is when a preorder is waiting to be shipped, then I find the figure the day it ships. Yeah, that has happened quite a few times especially with SW stuff.

And on top of it, people have been discussing returning any extras they have to the store for credit. Which would also allow anyone in their area to get a hold of the figure.

I'm going to hold off believing this till we see TK & WJ (the previous wave) in store too. If Target was jumping waves, they'd likely show up in MN first.

Just like that "Grapple sighting" in NY... We'll see.

I can vouch for some but not all.

Found a Scourge and Kup yesterday for members here(at a local Meijers) and they did not ring up at the register, she had to put them in manually for me to purchase them. One of the Scourge I found in IL at a Target did the same thing when I rung it up, had to be done manually.

So newer waves with unrecognized SKU numbers might not be in the same class as all the rest, or it happens after they get put in and categorized or something.

The only thing that sucks is that not all retail stores gets these items. I have a walmart and a target were I live and the last time they got something new was in Nov.... Yeah.

Given the nonsense with Grappel [sic], I want more proof -- if the OP could report if TC/WJ were seen or if any of the casemates were present, that would lend more credit to the report. I don't want to dump on the OP -- just that this is pretty important news if true and worth additional checking.

hope this is true but if this is a sad attempt at getting a news credit then that's an epic fail.

Considering BBTS sells it for $25, returning it to Target for $12 doesn't make a whole lot of sense. And if the dude just wants some money back instead of having an extra then you can easily sell that extra Warpath for $25 here or Ebay. Don't have to "return" it to Target for a loss.

I highly doubt ill ever see this as I still havent seen Perceptor, Wreck-Gar, Kup, G2 Optimus, RTS Bumblebee at any retail store and have had to resort to HTS to pick up what I've wanted.

Unless the person ended up getting a case, which would've ended up approximately about a dollar higher or so then retail.

Look I'm not trying to be pessimistic or discredit the OP I am just trying to tell everyone to hold on before they start searching their store.
    OK for arguements sake....

Lets say a parent order a case for a kid that does not yet have a credit card from BBTS that brings the figure to what $12 something after shipping. They don't have a e-bay account so they try to return the unwanted figures to a local store. Why is that so hard to believe? I know that when I have extra figures that I want to get rid of I hate dealing with shipping them out. You have to find boxes to ship them in and buyers that will pay and not drag their feet and bitch every five mintues when you can make it to the post office right away.

Sorry didn't me to rant on like that.

It's because I broke down and ordered Warpath from HTS this morning - always a guarantee that retail will be flooded with whatever I order. You're welcome ;)

My Warpath is waiting with WJ and TC in my PoL :)
If I see any retail wise here in ohio I'll let my board members know, even though Ohio usually gets the sharp end of the shaft when it comes to new stuff <_<
