that is amazing!
Hopefully they do a Chromia repaint, my painting skills are not so good.
Meh. Don't we all have that figure by now anyway?
Indeed ! Or, better, all except me (But not cause I didn't find that but cause I did never like it)... anyway I don't understand very much this knock-offing... ok when a figure is so rare... but why ANI Arcee ?
Repaints with remolded heads would be cool though, IF they make them look official. Designing original Animated-ish headw may not be that easy.
Cool, now KO'ify TFA Voy. Thundercracker!
Depending on the quality I would consider getting one to paint into Paradon Medic.
thundercracker needs this treatment, only way we're going to get the blue guy I fear.
Easy to spot as a KO, thankfully. Japanese Arcee has red and white autobot symbols. This only has silver. Easy to tell in the packaging.
She is kinda hard to get a hold of, and she was scalped big-time. Count me among those wishing to the marketing exec who reduced her to an exclusive (given how much she was demanded she should have been mass-retailed and double-packed). As well as a certain eBay seller. If I ever meet that seller in person, they will pay.
Depending on the quality and the price I'll grab one of these for sure.
I really dont see the the point.
How about we do a CHROMIA and MEDIC repaint?
Exactly. Except I'd like to see a KO TC match the deco for JPA Skywarp - that way we get TC, and he's easy enough to distinguish from the real thing
Might as well be a KO on Arcee. I could never find one at TRU.
Great. I can picture idiot sellers attempting on selling this as the legit TakaraTomy figure.
With any luck it'll drive the price down.
Hold on. No marketing exec decided to make this an exclusive, per se. Television support stopped, and retailers dropped the line, ending it. This was a case of "we find a retailer who wants this as an exclusive, or it doesn't get released at all". They didn't do it the way they did because they thought it was some kind of brilliant idea.
And as for how much she was demanded - remember, that was among the fan community. We make up ~10% of Transformers sales, except in very limited circumstances. Kids weren't clamoring for this toy. They offered it to retailers as an exclusive pretty much entirely to do a favor to us, as adult collectors, by making the toy available in some way instead of scrapping it entirely.
