I know it's old, but I got the Platinum Edition for 7.50 so I couldn't resist. Anyone played it? Worth it or not?
I love this game, but I don't do all that multiplayer mumbo-jumbo, so it was pretty damn short. But yeah, fun enough.
Dawn of War is the only computer game I have beaten repeatedly with a lot of the different races. I love 40K a lot (especially addicted to the books like the Horus Heresy Series). Definitely recommend the expansions as well to play and fight against other races.
My buddy told me that, but I buy like one game a year or so and haven't gotten around to picking one up. But I ought to.
Dawn of War is awesome. There's nothing like hearing your friend over vent cursing you as you march an armada of Chaos Defilers into his base. Music to my ears. Dark Crusade with the Risk style campaign mode is an especially awesome expansion. Lots of re-playability there.
40K is the best RTS I have ever played and I have played great many of them (Starcraft, Warcraft I-III, Rise of Nation just to name a few). My fave races are Necron and Tau. Ever since I got married and have a kid I haven't played all that much but I do miss the game a lot.
AWESOME game. Was my favourite for quite some time, and I got all the expansion packs save for the recent one (didn't really like Dark Crusade for it's lack of a proper storyline though). Can't wait for Dawn of War 2!
Loved the first one, not played the expansions, will get them though. Can't wait for the new game!...
