Hi there, I'm glad to see ya! Whew! Last few months life has really been throwing it to me, but I'm finally looking good. I've been scrambling to catch up on commissions, and managed to wrap up a couple I've had on the bench for a long time last night. This is a figure many talented artists before me have turned into Classics Tracks, a recipe I loved. I picked up the mold to do just that, then promptly learned of the official mold coming up, putting this project in the void. Until, that is, that I realized it could make quite the WFC Tracks instead! Painted using a combo of TTMM and Dupli Color auto spray. Thanks for your time!
Bravo. Definately looks like it could be the actual version on Tracks in WfC. The neon orange detailing really drives it home.
Love the concept, and great execution! Does this mold have any waist articulation? if not, that could be a very big bonus if you added it (for poseability sake!).
You know what, I was wondering what to do with the Tracks I had made now that the Generations one was out! Great idea!
In a weird way, I kind of like this mold as Tracks better than the Generations version. Customs like this really make a strong case for it.
alrighty... a had a mold of this one lying around with no actual purpose guess I'll be using some of your ideas
Damn, you really nailed this one, looks fantastic! Definitely looks like it came right out of the game! Only thing that seems out of place is the flame decal, looks a bit too much like something from Earth, but that's a minor nitpick. Fantastic job man.
STPrime made me one just like this. Yours looks fabulous, and i guess I'll be repurposing mine as WFC Tracks too!
WOW! The painting and detailing look superior in robot...the car mode does not seem as well done...HOWEVER, I absolutely love this and you made my favorite tracks rendition from this mold. Right on!
I echo this view. The bot mode looks great and might just work for WFCverse, but the alt mode looks too 'familiar' to me, like any car you see on the street. You can try adding kibble (blasphemy!) to the car shell to break up the silhouette and make it chunkier to resemble the game models. Or even using the orange glowing lines you have in bot mode on the alt mode as well, like how the other wfc figures do. But these critiques aside, I love your colour work. The bot mode is sure attractive!
Thinking about it further, I wonder if you could have adapted the flame decal into the wfc style, composing it out of a mass of glowing lines instead of just a single graphic. This way it wouldn't detract too much from Tracks as a character yet adding a nice, WFC touch.
This looks good. It just need something. Some glowing detail and then do something to hide the tires. I think that's what's throwing it off for me. Other than that he could be seen as part of the WFC universe.
