I'm just really hoping this line doesn't get cut short. I honestly didn't care for the Prime Master or 13 Primes gimmick from Power of the Primes. Titatns Returns was great, but wish we could shared some of that longevity for PotP.
I'm hoping Skywarp gets a release. However, between SW and TK, I'd hope Thundercracker would get an official as customizing my own Skywarp would be easier than Thundercracker. :p

I've had this queasy feeling twice before. Once when the only thing we'd had a reveal of for Titans Return wave six was Slugslinger (but hadn't had confirmation that he was the only new figure in wave six), and then again when the screenshots for PotP didn't go past wave four.

I'm cautiously optimistic, despite what i've just said above.

Thundercracker has a store listing, so that's almost confirmation. Only almost because, like with Toraizer in Titans return, we've seen toys with stroe listings get cancelled.

Yeah that's my worry. This early in the line I'm not too worried about him getting cancelled but PotP and TLK have scared me for other lines. I collect Marvel and theres been item number listings in Walgreens computers for over a year for a Skrull & Doctor Doom, and they're not even pegged for release or been revealed. Sad, honestly.

I wonder if the Optimus Primal TM was actually the exclusive set of Bat Optimus Primal (Mindwipe repaint with Sentinel Prime head repaint and Prime Wheeljack's swords) with the minibot being the repaint of Apeface. Makes sense honestly... 28853236701_6fb48b18d0_z.jpg

I have a strong feeling that they may release the seekers over the course of WFC's 3 lines so as to not take up all the Voyager slots and cause mold fatigue or redundancy on the store pegs.

I think Warden confirmed it would have been the primal deco Sentinel head with the Apeface mini-vehicle, and no bat-body if it hadn't been cancelled IIRC.

I don't recall it ever being stated that this line was "about" Targetmasters. The line is about the pre-earth War for Cybertron. There are Targetmasters in it as Battlemasters, and they are specifically for 3 Characters released in Titans Return. One of my predictions are that the line in 2020 will have Scorponok as the Titan since he is the last major Titan scaled character (I feel Sky Lynx should be given the Titan treatment as well, though) and we will see a return of Headmasters and Targetmasters, and perhaps HasTak will finish off the subgroups.

Those who were upset about not getting Abominus and Predaking in CW were eventually rewarded in POTP, so I think it is only a matter of time, most likely because they want to have more time between the same gimmick in a line. Be patient, and we will eventually get what we want, as long as the Generations line remains profitable enough to keep going.

That is a thing of beauty! If this Shockwave isn't proof that HasTak are listening to the fans, at least a little, then I don't know what is. I have 0 complaints about the design or any of it's various modes, though his super mode seems to have various possibilities due to the "Weaponizing" gimmick. I am a bit surprised that his feet don't fold up though, but it doesn't bother me at all.

As my esteemed colleague @Seeaich has said, Warden confirmed your sense was on the money. Such a shame it got cancelled, right?

Agreed. I wanted to go the BW set so bad, but did not feel the price was justified for a reference to a barely known BW 2 pack of basic figures, which I actually had. Prime Wars Trilogy was just chocked full of missed opportunities. Lets hope that isn't the case for Siege. What we have seen already is just so amazing, and frankly with just what has been revealed, I would consider Siege already a success. That Shockwave alone....

I know am being impatient by wanting all of these now, but frankly, I feel POTP was a letdown after TR and CW. Siege has me so hyped, that I just can't wait to put The Prime Wars Trilogy behind me. Besides, Siege has lots of figures that will have us dusting off our TR figures again...

I could see Shockwave becoming the best-selling Gen.Leader yet. Somewhat ironic.

I agree about PotP being a let down. I'm impatient too.

POTP was a let down for me too.... I think what happened was it was too costly for hasbro to make legit Powermasters.....

A Voyager Pretender with a deluxe inner robot would have been sweet too.... but all in all POTP was very unfocused. The best thing it did was give us Abominus and the Dinobots which were clearly the retools of Abominus.

I'm now thinking Siege Megatron is going to be my stand in for Cyberverse.

Cog and shoot I already forgot his name, the Decepticon Weaponizer look interesting.

I really like that Shockwave. Though that thing he's riding reminds me of the driller thing from Dark of the Moon. Really only because he's ridding it. I want to try to get a Longarm mode out of that figure because I would love an Animated inspired Shockwave with G1 Proportions.

Besides Cog none of the Autobots really look too interesting to me so I don't know what I'm going to do with the weaponizer gimmick. Maybe I could use him with Shockwave to help with my Longarm fan mode.

I am quite excited for the Spy Patrol and Air Strike micromasters. The spy patrol makes you wonder if they will do more for Soundwave. If a Blaster comes around somewhere in this War for Cybertron trilogy I would like to see a Straxus and Scrounge.

I thought POTP line was good in that we got some modern Pretenders and G1 styled Dinobots FINALLY.

Agreed about the Dinobots, as well as Abominus. I think I'm spoiled that I still didn't think PotP was that great of a line. I hope this line is developed as trilogy and isn't an after thought like it may have seemed for CW/TW/PotP.
I think it's the gimmick I didn't understand. We have these cubes that are supposed to be the 13 Primes that 'power' them up? Hell this Shockwave is a better powered up mode than any PotP figure did. I guess it was gimmick more made for the imagination? lol
That's okay though, not every line has to tickle my every fancy. The playability of Siege looks so much better with the weaponizers. And seems like actual designs instead of the giant hand/foot pieces that hold the prime masters half-assed and protruding from the chest.

So, how many will flip that Space Battlecruiser/ Sub Mode upside down? (Like Sixshot)

Yeah, I’ve decided to skip the Cyber Battalion Shockwave in favor of this......this one might be the best Main Line Shockwave yet
