Hey guys, I was reading an article in my friend's GameInformer about the new game and I'm pretty psyched, I hadn't posted anything in a while(life's been kinda' crazy) and I'm working on a Mosaic, so I figured I'd just post this up! Let me know what you think.

    **EDIT**

I threw on some colors, let me know what you think!

The lines look pretty good at this point and you've got a nice edgy kind of style going on.

One pet peeve though with Transformers art and design in general, is I don't think his waist can actually do that. In the art it's all one solid block. I think it's physically impossible for Optimus Prime to lift his leg like or kneel that. :|

The way I draw their waists, the front left and right chunks of his crotch are like flaps(like Masterpiece Prime's), so they'd move out of the way when his leg moves forward or sideways, and the back of his knee there could have a notch in it. That's how I've recently been drawing them, because the more they look like they can actually do what they're doing the better I think. haha Thanks for the comment. :D

I really like all of the character cram-packed into this sketch/illustration. That's one of the things I always love about sketches :)  Keep up the great work :thumb

Yeah, what Superquad said. The style and the pose have a lot of personality to it.

    Nice stuff.

thanks man, it's always good to hear, I love sketching most myself, it always has more movement than normal drawings.

thanks! I'm actually coloring it with watercolors today, so I'll upload the finished version soon. :D

For the sketch? I just used a ballpoint pen and a sharpie. haha Nothing too fancy, and I colored it in Photoshop CS2.

    Thanks!

Thanks, that's how I do most of my stuff, in pen/pencil, then I scan it, I'm not too confident in my tablet drawing skills yet. I'll never get used to not being able to turn my tablet while I'm drawing, or not seeing the lines under my pen. haha
