I airbrushed the primer to make sure all the recesses and other cavities were completely primed and then hand painted everything else. Finally airbrushed the sealer to protect his paintwork.
This guy is friggin' awesome man! You know I'd like to get this guy fo' sho'. I'm gonna haveta try the gradient effect. Might try it on my custom Kup like you did, just for starters.
They don't get any cleane.....err, dirtier than that. This Megatron looks like he's been killing in the trenches for r33lz.
I don't see the back piece on Megatron in Tank mode, was that removed in order for the fusion canon to peg in that second position?
I epoxied a peg in place of the pin and drilled a hold to accommodate the newly adhered peg. Works like a charm
Those lights are snazzy. Always impresses me when Radicons can paint something to look like it's glowing, even if it isn't.
Look at the back piece. On the bottom of it is the hinge connector that makes it connect to Megatron. Once you pop that pin out from Megatron so that you can now separate the back piece from Megatron, toss the pin away. Then epoxy a peg onto that hinge connector. Now, look at Megatron's back where the hinge used to be. You will now be able to see a screw there. Unscrew that screw and toss it. You don't even need the screw. Take a drill bit and open up that screw hole to accommodate the newly epoxied peg. This help? If not, I can show you a pic.
