haven't bought a wii game since SMB Wii, can't see that changing until Metroid, War for cybertron will be an xbox purchase. Motion controls for motion control sake doesn't work well generally

I will be picking this game up for my nephews on the Wii if it turns out decent.

 

Whoa! Will it still be the same game? Or will they do what they did with the Wii ROTF and make it entirely different?

Also, any news on multiplayer? If it does have some decent online multiplayer I might get it on Wii instead of 360. I don't have a job so I don't have the money flow I'd like. It's always 10 bucks cheaper on Wii so yeah....

That's why I haven't been buying any toys recently

i find it to dumb they have violent gmes for the wii call of duty which has blood & killing & swearing, and the one game whre use sword & guns to go after moffia red steel

 

Unfortunately, I'm in the same situation. I might get a PS3 slim come September, but for now I'm going to cry myself to sleep.

 

I think you guys are missing the point. Those are adult franchises, Transformers is first and foremost a kids franchise, and it's being marketed on a family-based console owned by a family-based company, so they have to market it to both kids and parents.

Is the name silly? Yes, but I see why they changed it to begin with. Maybe Battle for Cybertron or Fight for Cybertron might make more sense, but the name change itself isn't exactly the problem.

 

I know evidence from the past suggests otherwise, but what if the Wii game is a completely different experience. This isn't a movie game, so maybe the developers will do something good with it. Remember the Animated game on DS was decent. For those who own both systems, it will be an opportunity to play two new TF games.

Adventures might even suggest a Zelda-style exploration game. I know, far fetched, but stranger things have happened.
