    I have this book at work called: "Weaponry - An illustrated History."
    On page 197 I found this beautiful pic of a walther p.38, that looks exactly like G1 Meg, in alt mode:

    Good old G-1 toys ... SO accurate. The first time I saw his robot mode I thought it was ass ugly, but he's grown on me. Cool image :)

    Gee so a Toy made to look like a Walther P-38 looks like a Walther P-38...

    Say does Alternator's Jazz look anything like a Mazda?

    One thing great about the G1 toys was that the alternate modes were pretty decent from their time. But then again, it should be remembered their gimmick was simply transforming - especially for the original 1984 line. The robot modes were sacrifice for the alternate modes.

    Sure didn't change anything once they switched to fictional vehicles after the movie imo AND they were made with technology a decade advanced.
