Why is it so hard to believe that two TVs may have the same cases, but different guts? It's done on computers all of the time elsewhere. Are you going to get fired up at Dell because their 3000 dollar laptop has a different model number than their 700 dollar laptop? Sure some manufacturers will make different different models for Wal*Mart sales versus Best Buy sales, but if when you go and buy the TV at Wal*Mart you should realize that it's a TV from Wal*Mart, and you're paying Wal*Mart prices for the TV. You aren't going to get a Best Buy TV from Wally World, and if you think that's what you're getting, you've earned what you get.
