My Walmart restocked the pegs with...honestly...50 deluxe silly paint job Primes, which are never going to sell down. Why?

I counted over 100 of them at one of my local Walmarts.

I noticed that they started selling these toys on the other side of the store because they were overstocked on Optimus Prime deluxes.

Exactly the same here, but with the original. Screw Wal-Mart. They aren't getting me any Prime toys, just these shelfwarming movie exclusives.

One Walmart near me is bad like that. One month it was a sea of deluxe Primes. Now it is a sea of orange Roadbusters. Its odd to see something that out numbers Bumblebee.

*sigh* TF Prime won't be hitting ANY Wal-marts if they're all doing that. I haven't been to one since last week, perhaps I should see if my stores are doing the same.

Wal-Mart isn't getting TF Prime AT ALL by the looks of it, at least the First Editions. TRU is your only bet for First Edition, and only if you are in Canada.

Don't fret, its christmas season. Bumblebees and Optimus Primes will get scooped up. They always seem to, though there seem to be a lot more of them to go around this time.

Someone scooped up all the Orange Roadbusters at the Walmart near me which I found strange in the last week.

As much as I like my Lunarfire Optimus Prime, they really have overstocked on it and, to a much lesser degree, Track Battle Roadbuster. At least it looks like they've overstocked (I don't know marketing or other stuff like that).

My wal-mart hasn't had anything new in over a month and I'm starting to see more Prime toy reviews which is making me wander if Wal-Mart is ever going to start selling them.

I'm going on a spree of buying them and dropping them off in toy donation bins.

Yeah, that's right, I'm gonna get the underprivileged kids addicted to our plastic crack. I'm a great role model, huh? :D

I actually went to my Walmart tonight specifically looking for Orange Sherbert Roadbuster and Gold Garish Prime only to see neither. Their TF section looks like nothing has been touched in at least two-three months.

Which isn't surprising. When the movie came out, they pushed wave 1 and 2 *HARD* with the TF section at least 1.5 to 2 times normal size, a full end cap display and a gigantic presence in the first aisle of the toy section. But everybody who wanted those figures were able to get them in a week or two and they still had tons of product left. So I can only imagine how much stock they're still sitting on.

I wish either Hasbro would front end these lines with tons of figures off the bat, or stores would quit ordering so damn much of the initial assortment. This has been a problem since Hunt for the Decepticons and with every case of deluxe figures now having at least three Bumblebees regardless of line, I don't know how its going to get sorted out.
