PICS! Walmart Christmas Ornaments - Optimus, BB

Dont have pics yet, will get some tonight, but last night i picked up 2 different, i assume Walmart exclusive Transformers ornaments. There are Optimus and Bumblebee, the Optimus is a relief of his shoulders and head on the front, and Autobot logo on the back, and BB is almost a full 3d version of his body in the arm cannon pose, with the same back as the Optimus. They were like $5 each, made by American Greetings.

In a decent world, yes, but Christmas starts earlier and earlier each year. Its been coinciding with back-to-school for the last few years now. A shame really.

They can hang on a tree, that's what makes them christmassy. If hallmark can make ornaments of Star Trek/Wars ships and characters, why shouldn't we have Transformers?

yeah, they are really thick, almost like plaques, which made me think theyre electric, but theyre not, just hollow, nothing christmassy at all except they have a loop on the top for hanging. I forgot they have cool drawing looking art printed on the sides too. Pics when i get home from work i swear!

Well, since BB didn't have an arm cannon in G1, I'm going to assume that they're movie figures.

I've never heard of Star Trek/Wars ornaments. Just as silly a concept. Guess it's a different country thing or something.

Opps skimmed over it and saw cannon and just thought it was G1 Optimus' gun.

The Hallmark store has a G1 Optimus as a Christmas ornament. They get about 5 per shipment and the wife put our name down for when they get more.

Well, seems to me Optimus and Bumblebee are more representative of the spirit of peace and good will usually associated with the holiday than...y'know...the Death Star (which Hallmark actually made as one of its SW ornaments a couple years ago   ).
