I want to complete my movie Seekers but didn't want to bite at the original prices, this deal is fantastic.
Dangit, I have already planned my TF budget for the rest of 2009 and this doesn't fit in. Hopefully this deal will last beyond January.
Good deal, I picked up Skywarp for 13$ and he is pretty cool. Makes a good and big display piece, in robot mode he looks like a beast! I wish I hadn't passed on Deep space Starscream for 13$ a while back, this mold is fun to mess with. Jet mode kinds sucks though.
Most of my local Wal-Marts clearanced these for $7.50 a couple of months ago; they must still have a bunch of stock in the warehouse that they're trying to clear out. Twelve bucks for each of them is still a fairly good deal and they're very nice figures (I love the TFTM07 Starscream mold, so I'm a little biased), but I already have my own plus several extras for donation purposes.
There's actually a wal-mart commercial I saw on Sunday pushing Skywarp and Ramjet... ya, I think they ordered too many of these.
I might pick them up if any are left in stock after Christmas, and the sale continues. If not, there's always the after-holiday clearance sale.
When the first movie was out I bought the Target exclusive SS, but passed on T-Cracker because there were no reports of them making Skywarp. When they made him this year, I had to go buy T-Cracker on on eBay. So everyone who says that "Ramjet is ugly" (I agree), might want this guy when they sneak in the other 2 coneheads when the 3rd movie is out. I probably will.
I actually got these two from a couple friends (local collectors) for my birthday, so... Mine were free.
i wish mine would do that...i just want skywarp...but i'd buy this set and donate ramjet for sure...or for 7.50 i'd buy 3 or 4 to donate.
