just got back from Walmart and noticed that they raised the prices of their Universe Delux class from 7.77 to 9.98. That's more than a two dollar raise!!

Has anyone else noticed this in their area?

Only a matter of time. I haven't been to either of my local Walmarts lately, but I definitely took advantage of the 777 deal.

I've noticed that on their website. If we got to pay an extra two dollars then thats fine with me. It's not going to stop me from getting the figures that I want.

Haven't noticed it yet, but Target has been around that $9-$10 mark the entire time (unless they had them cheaper and I missed out). I kept hitting up Wal-Mart to get the $7 and change deals. The only stuff I've picked up from Target in months are the 2 two-pack exclusives (Springer/Ratbat & Roadbuster/Dirge) for $20 and change each on clearance.

All I have to say, Canada TF Deluxe's = $14.99
    I'd kill for $9.98.

Technically, the $7.77 was a limited time discount deal, all the did was return the price back to normal.

To expand on Storms point, that is $27 USD so consider yourselves lucky.

When you think about it, it was never really a price raise seeing how they were previously $9.99 before the 777 deal. If anything, they just reverted to their original list price.

But the "consider yourselves lucky" part is true. Holland refuses to release Universe figures and charges 52 USD for a freaking animated/movie voyager.

Enjoy sales while they last! Also, remember that the deluxe srp is $9.99, but doesn't mean stores are obligated to sell them for that. Also, as persons have *obviously* pointed out, TFs are more expensive overseas.

Consider your blessings while you have 'em :)

It had to end sometime v :)  V

$9.xx is still better than their full price, which was...$12? The sale has been going on for so long I don't even remember.

seems there's lots of anger over Movie Devy being 99 bucks.
Supreme classes are 130 to 140 USD here.

Yeah, I noticed that in my Walmart today. I got a $5 giftcard from the Red Cross and was excited that I was only going to pay $3 for a figure.

    oh well....

good thing I picked up Hound and Cheetor last week.
