Going tomorrow. Will be the first animated film I see in a theater since Iron Giant I believe.

I'll go at some point this weekend, probably at whatever time guarantees the least amount of kids.

^Middle of the night, I assume. That's why I'm going to the first showing tonight. I'll probably go to the premieres only twice this year. This and Hellboy 2.

Less than 5 hours to go...

Going to see it tomorrow morning during the $5.00 matinees. I usually try to catch Pixar's stuff in theatres (except for Cars) and this one looks amazing. Really looking forward to it.

WALL•E is the best animated movie I have ever seen, and easily goes on my top 10 movies list.

Oh, and all the chicks in the theater loved it. It's a good date movie as well.

It's a very original piece. Pixar's best. And it is mind scramblingly pretty movie.

Saw it tonight. So so so so amazing. I loved Iron Man and Transformers. I would place this above both of them.

WAS going with friends today, but the local cinema kinda screwed up and kept bumping people to later and later shows b/c the film wouldn't work with their system or something...
ANYWAY, went and saw Wanted instead...might try again later this week.
Sucks too...first Pixar movie I've been remotely excited for in recent years.

I went last night with my brother and my little cousin.

It was the best animated film my eyes have ever seen. Astonishing.

There are literally parts of the film that will have you jaw dropped, especially everything up to and right before he first goes after EVE (you'll know what I mean).

Hell, I had to hold back tears of joy (not sadness) because of just how amazing this film was. It will blow your mind.

The gigantic views of the current Earth, and the current condition of the planet is insane! It totally blows "I AM LEGEND"'s post-apocalyptic earth out of the water!

Did anyone else get a free WALL-E watch with their ticket purchases? We got 3, 1 for each of us.

    No!!! I want a free WALL-E watch!

WALL-E's not just a kid's movie. It's a great movie in any sense. Everyone go watch it. It's at least very pretty.

*Funny thing happened. I went to a midnight showing and someone dislocated their knee inside the theater. I don't know how... But yeah. We had to wait 30mins. That was silly.

Is this much different from Pixar's usual old hat? I suppose I should see it at somepoint since its vaguely SF related, but I don't think I can be that bothered with another 90 minutes of yawn inducing family CGI.

    :)

In all seriousness, I too usually stay away from animated movies, at least until they hit DVD or cable. The last animated film I saw in a theater was Iron Giant like what, 10 years ago? Most, even the good ones, just aren't my thing. But I loved this film. If you like robots, I'll think you'll like it a lot.
