BigBadBoombox and my self picked up the Wal-Mart exclusive red Powerglide. On both of ours the left wing won't stay tabbed on to the engines. First of all has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know of a fix to it?

This was a common problem on the Henkei (and probably first Hasbro release) too. A little super glue or clear nail polish on the tab (not the port) should help. It worked for me.

Yeah, the first version of Powerglide had this problem as well. A little super glue or nail polish like mentioned works wonders.

Oddly enough, my Stormcloud doesn't have that problem. I was expecting this new Powerglide repaint to be like Stormcloud and not have the problem as well.

Wierd. My first Powerglide, SC, and the new one has never had that problem. Although I can see how easily it can happen.

Same problem with mine. I figured once the joints loosen a bit it would pop less. Guess I'll go with the nail polish.

    quick question:
is this the same as the problem with the overtightened screws on the gray powerglide or a different part?
my WM Ex. PG has the opposite problem of my gray PG.
it just needs the screw tightened a smidge and should be just about perfect.

I haven't opened mine yet, but if it has the same problem then the nail polish fix is what I'll do.

Nail polish/superglue, or return it as defective.

Mine too...and I returned one as defective, and got another from a different store.

Same problem. I just kept adding nail polish to the tab (4 or 5 times, now  ) Until it finally it is snug.

Now this is weird, this is the best version of this mold I've had. This is my fourth version of the mold. I have Orig Powerglide, Henkei Pwerglide, Storm Cloud and now this Wal-Mart Powerglide. This is the first one I didn't have too loosen the screws so I didn't stress the shoulders when rotating them and the shoulders click on stay. And the waist snapped together with no issues. The Henkei one was actually the worse one. The waist took more tricks to get together then you could imagine since the pin was loose as anything.

Like I said earlier, my Stormcloud didn't. But apparently some others' did. So it all boils down to luck, basically.

I have the exact same problem on the left wing. I put a little bit of clear nail polish on the tab and it holds a little tighter now.
