Yeah, sometimes toy swappers are so stupid. I found this at Toys R Us back in 2008. Wishing I'd had the money to buy them at the time. That G2 Starscream probably would have paid for all of them.
I would totally buy that boxset if it is still around. Sadly though, I'm kinda poor at the moment, hehe though
Man, I would have bought that for $10 especially if the fool put the accessories in there with him. A complete G2 Starscream for $10? Hell yeah! Sometimes I don't understand why people do this crap. I admit I have returned a figure that I've opened but only if it's broken when I get home to open it or a complete POS but would never consider a figure swap. Then again I am very selective as to what I buy and make damn sure I want the figure before hand.
lol i wasnt trying to be a bully, or tell her how to do her job i was just letting her know and the fact she basically acted like i was an idiot and she showed she didnt care i was like whatever.
i wonder if you could get a discount? like take it to the register or get a supervisor and be like look, half the crap is missing and was returned with the wrong figure in it. can i get it for half off? wouldnt hurt to try. plus you get the inferno, sell it for like 5 bucks and make some cash back.
I'd criticize the idiot clerks who take these back, but they obviously just don't know. If somebody returned the wrong My Little Pony to me back in the day when I was at retail, I wouldn't have known either. At least it provides the rest of us with some cheap amusement.
After seeing some of these swaps, I'm starting to hope I find one with something good inside. It's like a swap meet. I'd totally buy that if I needed Inferno.
Especially in my area. I don't care too much for inferno, but I am wishing I'd bought that G2 Starscream, even if he wasn't complete. The only other time I've seen this was at a Target a couple weeks later. Someone had returned on of the Star Wars comic two packs with some original Kenner figures inside. One was Chewbacca, and I think the other was a stormtrooper.
Was this in Exton PA? I saw that yesterday and took a picture, but didn't get a chance to post. Yeah, I'd like to catch the guy that does this and cave his skull in. It's not the first time I've seen something like this at that Walmart.
