God I have no idea where to pick up the DVD at, and I am not buying more than one copy unless we do end up with an extended cut later on.

Yup, I saw that today when I visited my local Wal-mart. I shoulda taken a pic, but figured someone would have beaten me to it. :p

On a side note I found a Voyager class Thundercracker while I was there. :D

Three copies, one from Best Buy (figures), one from Walmart (cartoon!), and one from Target (comic). I can always give the spares away as gifts to my peeps.

I expected a bit more "spectacular" ad, but ehh.

It's the Wal-Mart and Best Buy ones that have me torn, but what exactly is in that comic that makes people want the Target one? Is it a new story?

So, let me get this straight. If you buy at Walmart, you get the Walmart Exclusive 2 Disc version, which would be Disc 1 - standard movie, Disc 2 - Beginnings. So, if you wanted the normal two disc set, you'd be stuck buying a second copy of the movie to get both the second normal disc, and a copy of Beginnings?

    Yeah, that sounds about normal.

Yep, that's how it works with their bonus disc deals. Personally, I don't think Beginnings will really be worth the loss of the extras in the 2 disc set.

I wish walmart's website had details on their pre-order. I orginally was thinking about driving all the way out there (40 minute drive) for it. But if it is litterally the Movie and then another disk is the prequel, ill just go to bestbuy and get their special edition.

Its a new prequel comic that features Wreckage as a character. That's enough for me right there.

Wait, if the IDW prequel (probably flash animated) is merely narrated by Peter Cullen, what about that other prequel thing that Mark Ryan voiced Bumblebee for on a DVD?

And my question is, if I buy the 2-disc set (The white cover), do I still get this?

I talked to friend of mine that works for walmart and it is the regular 2-disc set that everyone has with the beginnings movie in a paper slip cover shrink wrapped to the back of the dvd case. Walmart has packaged special content like this before.

    Shit, that is cool.

Maybe the extras would make great gifts or something... :cry
