Unbelieveable...well not really. The things people are willing to do to save a few bucks and the situation created by corporations to get these rabid people into the stores is sickening.

Pathetic. I'm so glad we do not have black Friday up here.

Noone thinks stomping on a human being is a bad thing? Too bad these idiots cannot be charged for this. Save $5, kill a man. Also the comment about the pregnant woman who was hospitalized over this as well was swell!

    Awesome job humanity!

Man, there's a serious part of me that feels that they should back-track all of the receipts for that first hour, and have the police investigate them on murder charges. Take all of their shoes and check them out CSI style.

While I know that there would never be charges brought against anyone, putting them through some legal wranglings will make them think again about being part of a mad rush to save 12 bucks.

Aside from the negativity some people bring into every thread, that is sad indeed. Heard about this earlier, and I hope every person involved feels like shit the rest of their lives.

Why do people get surprised at the things that people do to other people (and animals [hell and themselves])?

Humans are capable of anything and prove this on an almost daily basis. Why do some people constantly act shocked when this happens?

    why....

    :(

That made me lose faith in humanity :(

but, It goes to show how money driven America is, to physically trample someone to death whilst he's gasping for air. It makes me sick to the stomach that people would do this

From what I have read, this crowd of people was BREAKING INTO the store they were so violent. They were smashing the glass and ripping the doors off.

At some point, Wal-mart should have called the police and closed the store so even *IF* they got in, they wouldn't sell them anything, then prosecute anyone who took anything. It was clearly out of control before they broke through the doors, and they feel this employee was intentionally trampled because he was trying to block the entrance.

I hope they do arrest people. They know who was there via receipts, just match people who were there with the video camera stuff.

I live 40 minutes from the Valley Stream Wal-Mart. It's right on the Nassau County/Queens border.

It's not a town I like to visit often, I'll tell you that much.

Walmart can write off THAT store's chances of an uptick in same store sales today.

While I do hope that some of those that actually committed the act should be arrested, I also feel that this whole Black Friday event really needs re-evalution by corporations. These corporations do advertise great deals, but only keep 20 or so instock. They create the conditions for stuff like this to happen, and could have happened at any store: Best Buy, Circuit City, Target. This captialism gone wild at the local level.

Of course, people SHOULD have more self-control, but we all know that isn't the reality. When presented with those deals and the aspect that "supplies are limited only the strongest survive", human tragedies happen.

Why do people like you constantly think this stuff is funny when threads are created about it?

That's what I was thinking. I blame walmart for allowing this crowd to get out of control. I also think the whole system of giving outrageous deals and only having a handful of those items available feeds this ridiculous behavior. People are stupid. Society is stupid. I hope they arrest all these soccer moms and grandma's and other sickos trying to save a buck. Throw all of them in jail based on video footage, receipts, and eye witness reports. Spend the time and effort to send a message.
