Non-TF: W.I.P. Custom Voltron Metal Defender

    Inspired by the works of Autobot00, i was not only able to give my Metal Defender some neck and wing articulation, but i was also able to give it some"waist" articulation. That's right, the waist can now swivel as well. Lots of cutting and griding to get to this level. Now what's left is to finish up detail-painting this guy. Now that he can do some dynamic poses, he looks absolutely amazing

    First off i am glad i could inspire you to better your metal defender. Second that is a most good mod. It's something i thought about doing but really didnt think i'd be able to pull it off cleanly. You did a great job. curious how you did it

    Damn that good. All I did with mine was the add the black lines throughout the figure.

    I used a Dremel for cutting and grinding the lower waist. I took off the ball joint assembly from a Lego Bionicle and fabricated it to fit into the waist. i used hot glue to stick the ball joint assembly into the waist.
