Cool. I'm still only going to get him to turn into Skywarp, but it's still nice to get some more/better photos of him.
On second thought, the design still isn't good. The new head is light years better than Starscream though. And does anyone else see the Gradius fighter chest?
It actually works in fighter mode, having the blue deco atop, and having the grey deco for the underside, its common on fighter planes. I do know what you mean though, however I think they did this for fighter mode. It looks WAY better than starscream in my opinion!(I'm not a big fan of desert camo...just seems bland to me). Well, I said I'd wait to see the repaint, and I'm glad I did! I will most likely pick this one up.
Those new pics look hot, agreed 100% the deco is definately meant for the jet mode. He's a nice looking jet, although he still looks a little boxy to me.
It's still a bad mold, and the colors don't all come together quite right. I'll consider buying and customizing this a bit, though. I just don't know if a good head sculpt and new paint is enough to save this mold.
love the new head. Im liking this one way better than starscream. I hope they make starscream in more G1 colors with that head instead of the movie accurate head as a little treat or extra or exclusive. Would be nice to have.
It still looks like a monkey, but I like the paint job better...................................OMG I just realized...StarScream, and now Thundercracker are two of the Wicked Witches flying monkeys!!!!!! HAHAHAAA!
Ya know that would be pretty cool. As said earlier I am not a big fan of desert camo, so seeing starsream in a more "lively" color scheme like his g1 colors would be cool, and this has nothing to do with g1, its because desert camo is so drab to me.
I'm not sure about this one now that I see all of him and in both modes. I think I'll just stick with Starscream.
Yeah. The grey legs make it look like he's wearing shorts or something. With a more balanced color scheme it'd probably be pretty decent. The vehicle mode gives me an Energon Screamer vibe though, interestingly enough. I still like the new head though.
Sold. That is all. That new head is AWESOME.... I'll be one of those folks that gets it because HE CAN'T WAIT
I think Classics Starscream and Skywarp look better in Jet mode than this. The ALT mode is definately compromised for the sake of the horrid looking robot mode. The more I see these Movie toys, the more and more I become assured that I have no interest in them in the slightest. I'll stick to strictly collecting only Classics, Alternators, and the Masterpiece line. Sucks though, for someone who has been waiting no lie, for a Transformers movie since he was 3. Ahh hell, maybe I'll get Leader class Prime and the 2008 Camaro version of Bumblebee...I saw it in that Takara listing, and it's a pretty sweet looking mold. With his "battle mask" on, he looks like Goldbug at least.
