Modding an ion-cannon 3D file to print something for lil' Prime to hold.

Maybe ought to trim the trigger a bit, but finally got the handle to fit and peg in.

 

Any chance you willing to make more to sale that ion blaster looks great

I have another job or two to finish in the silver I currently have loaded, then I'll swap the machine over to black filament, bump up the resolution, and knock out a few blasters.

I would also love a new Blaster for my MP-10V - it looks fantastic!

 

Black's loaded up now. Since it's a new material for me, I've got it running the same low-resolution test print to make sure it behaves similarly to my silver. I'll shoot you all a message once I've got things sorted out.

In the mean time, more goofing around.

I need to adjust the print settings for this black material. Takes too long to cleanup. However, the blaster is overall functional, so things're looking good.

 

Maybe just paint it, so it would look glossy   Good job!

I'll kick off a proper sales thread once I pick up some shipping boxes, but right now it's looking like I can offer them for $14/blaster with a domestic flat rate $7 shipping charge for however many fit in the box.

 

Any interest in selling the stl file? Like the guy who was doing the um kit?

 

Does anyone know if MP Ultra Magnus still scale decently with MP10V, or is he comically too large?
Magnus is traditionally a large bot so I thought he might still fit despite being Masterpiece scaled.

 

i loved my mp10v until i tried to transform him. mere minutes after taking him out the package. i just wanted to take a look at the matrix. the bumper snapped off on one side. after lamenting for awhile and using crazy glue i tried to transform him again. then one of the parts that connect to the bumper for vehicle mode snapped off. as many have stated i too bought it to be my chug prime. i ended up giving it to my son who finished prime off inside of a week. shame too. that was a long while ago but i always think about it when ever im buying any 3p or ko figure.

 

Same here. According to multiple suppliers that I've tried asking for help with broken knees on my MP-10VW, after sales support from KBB is non-existent and it's impossible to get replacement parts.

 

Its funny they made the chest/windows diecast but all the parts that break seem to be made of dollartree level plastic. Id gladly buy one made sturdier.

 

Ill probably get one for my x2toys giga raiden sometime in the future.

 

It's a bit of a crapshoot(?) with this figure.
I had some breakage on mine too, but he's okay for the most part and I transformed him many times.

 

I have bought 3 of them and one the first had an issue; I got the back panels in a bind transforming it and broke one off. So I bought 2 more, one to store just in case. If I had to recommend anything... I wish the made the face plate/around the eyes section out of a seperate grey plastic(my paint rubs off down the middle p. But that’s seams to be a common Optimus “Prime problem”
