I was expecting an eva colored voyager mp10... I would have bought it in a heartbeat

 

I would buy an eva recolor without thinking. But i would have to see a downsized version of the complete trailer in that package. Roller, Shinji and all.
My intrest is not declining at all.
But some news would be appreciated.

 

Last time I asked TF-Direct the said it has been delayed again to mid september. Have been getting that runaround for months now. But for my part, they did the same thing with the second run of MP-10V and he did eventually come out.

Got my hands on this figure today and I've got to say despite my initial excitement I'm very dissapionted with him. The first issue I had was a floppy leg, making him unable to stand, fortunately tightening a screw helped with that however more annoying was one of the smokestacks were bent out of shape, again I was able to fix this by disassembling the shoulder, removing the smokestack and applying some heat to it in order to straiten it out. Feeling accomplished I set about changing him back to alt mode and the bloody bumper piece fell off! No pressure applied, no resistance when manipulating it, just fell right off the figure. Anyone else had these issues or did I get a lemon?

 

Sounds like a lemon to me. I had none of those issues.

 

Yeah, just skimmed through the thread, looks like I got a bad one   Ordered another through TF-Direct which is cheaper than the one I got off eBay! Should have took that route first off.

 

Yeah, I only have my own to go with, but sounds like you got a bad one. The only "problem" I'd say I've found with mine is the little leg flaps that slide down underneath in truck mode don't fit right up against the body, but I >think< that's just me being picky.

 

Is the Magnus on sale anywhere?

 

+1 it's a lemon. I did not have a problem with the joints or the smoke stacks.

The fender joint broke though, but only because I applied to much pressure trying to pry it open (to put the matrix).

 

No pressure applied with mine, opened it very carefully twice and it just fell away, have you managed to fix it? I might use my damaged one as a custom.

 

Ouch.

I haven't bothered to fix mine because I doubt it would stay fixed. It broke on the part where the pin goes through; dunno what it's called but it's the U-shaped part where the "hole" and the fender meets.

 

Same breakage here, I'll have ago at fixing it, if sucessful I'll post the fix on here.

My 2nd MP-10V arrived this week and I can gladly say my first one was a lemon and I can see why people love this figure:

I've got to say, this guy is everything MP-10 is and more. In fact I like him more than MP-10, proportionally he looks better and I also prefer the smaller size. Some nice accessories too, almost makes up for there not being a trailer.

I'm guessing this is the V2 as it had the painted roof lights. What other differences are there from the V1?

 

I recall spending ~$25 for the ugrades to the G1 prime that included the jet pack, axe, matrix & hands to hold it; and when you consider that this figure contains all that & the figure itself for ~$25 more, makes the MP10v a total win in my book.

Word of caution about the silver matrix cover: I had my MP10v for months without any problems and then one day that piece broke off during transformation. Don't know if that was fixed/reinforced for v2, but figured I'd share nonetheless. Fortunately, you have a lemon for extra parts if you ever should need them.

 

Who do you purchased from?

 

That's the part that broke on my first one. Just gonna be super careful with it.

TF-Direct mate, highly recommended.

 

i got my mp-10b ion cannon in for the mp 10v today.

does it work? yes and no.
does it work enough for me to paint the cannon? yes

it barely fits in mp10vs hand as is, but it fits. the handle will need a little shave for a better fit imo. the cannon looks better in certain display angles, but regardless, it looks way better than the kbb stock cannon.

for 2.99, an eventual shave and paint. this cannon will work.

 

Shame iGear faithleader guns are not easy to get they might be the ideal size.
But the G1 gun isn't to bad with him.

I really wish they'd pull their finger out and make some more repaints. in the Voyager size Eva, Shattered Glass, Sleepmode, Powered Convoy, Nemesis or Black Optimus deco especially.
