    Hello everyone.

This is my newest project, a new version of my favourite Con ever, Shockwave.

    -He's voyager size
-He will transform into a large cybertronian spaceship
-The front part of the ship will integrate his characteristic gun barrel.
-I exagerated his chest piece in order to make him even more menacing.

I'm currently running out of styrene boards, once I have my replacement I'll be updating this thread.

    Thanks for looking!

Still running out of PVC sheets, but I could work a little by using bank cards.

    Update: 11/23/11 - Altmode updated

Just added a few more details to his altmode. By now I'm finishing up his front gun barrel then I'll disassemble him and he'll be ready for primer.

For paints I think I'll be using Tamiya X-16, purple with a blueish shade, as same as I have used for Impactor. I love that colour. Still no sure if I paint his center panel chest in some pinkish or greyish shade...

The left arm hose will be attached once he is done, because I'm still not sure where I'll be attaching it for the altmode.

    The last update: 01/05/2012

Hopefully to be done by the weekend.
My bro Ricbot is already painting him up.

Looking great,it's refreshing to see a Shocky who's base isn't the Energon Shockblast mold.
The exagerated chest kinda reminds me of WFC,which is great.

Are those the original Valkyries(the original Jetfire mold, forgot how it's called) legs and arms? He'll be a rather tall Voyager eh?

Thanks man, I'll not disappoint you!

Thanks man, I was using PVC sheets before, I recently bought a few styrene boards just to find out this material is far inferior than PVC.

Thanks man, I'm certain that you will like the final product!

Thank you guys, in fact the chest section was inspired by the WFC incarnation, but I will try to implement more G1 elements such as the translucent central panel.
Shinbs, he is voyager size because the torso and tights are a little shorter than the original Valkyre mould.

This guy is coming out even better than I planned.
I have already made some good progress on him, the gun barrel is already done and consequently his backpack.

I've been using PVC sheets all around to make all my customs, and yesterday I finally received my pack of styrene boards just to find out that styrene is crap!
Can't bend it, it thorns appart too easely, just a waste of cash...

I'll be probably using the same material I was using before. PVC sheets from bank cards and random panels I've found around.

    Stay tunned! ;)

    Ah,cool I believe he'll be a cool size then.

Also,I'm not sure why,but those legs, they really made me think of Starscream.
And you know what'd be awesome?A voyager Starscream!Sure, the classics mold is Perfect and all,but he's so tiny, even for a deluxe, and your stuff is always so creative and unique,I think you'd come up with a really cool Screamer.
I know you have other projects, but just throwing out some suggestions.

Starscream? Well I don't think so bro there would be freaking difficult make a Starscream custom using these legs...Unless you use the whole Jetfire mould to the custom, but these legs are quite versatile I agree.

For Sale signs work wonders, too. I use them all the time when scratch-building, mainly because they're so cheap and almost exactly the same as plasticard. Layering them since they are thin allows for some great curving and paneling.

Nah,I just said the legs made me think of Screamer for some reason,I wasn't really suggesting making him with those legs in particular, just suggested making him.

Altmode looks cool now that it's finished, nice little nod to the original SW.

lol I use Best Buy Gift cards! if you go to best buy and ask for old gift card they'll give you tons! way cheaper than styrene and easier to cut. Its Looking great so far, can't wait to see it finished!

Thank you brothers, I'm having lots of fun making this one.

Exactely! I'm lucky since I work for a great industry and old used signs like these you mentioned can be found easely here to be disposed of. Too bad all the signs I've been able to find till now are made of the damn styrene...Damn!
    Thanks for the hint!

Thanks man, I hope you like the new updates. I aways wanted to make a new altmode for SW.

I know what you mean buddy. I have a few crazy projects for the future and your suggestion has been noted too.
Thanks a lot for noticing the nod to the original SW. This is the true essence for the whole project.

    Thanks man, keep tunned!

Too bad we don't have Best Buy shops here in Brazil, but your idea is wonderful too, makes me think if I can get some disposed cards for free at some local markets.
    Thanks a lot!

    Suggestions?
