I was curious how many of you have the Voyager Seaspray in your classics collection. For those that do what is the reason?

Is it there because you accept it as a full classics figure alla Powerglide (I'm refering to the upsizing)?

Is he there because he sorta fits and it is the only option?

    or

Do you not consider him a classics at all?

Personally from the very beginning I considered the litt...I mean big guy the new Seaspray and he just underwent the same upgrade Powerglide did. He does have some Movie line ethstetics but not enough for this guy to budge, and I am not a fan of the movie line.

So how does it work for you guys?

    Thanx

I consider him a movie figure, but didn't vote because the movie option in the poll doesn't reflect my opinion.

I consider him part of the Movie continuity, personally. Though he can work as either.

I've accepted a wide aestetic from my classics, so I'm more than happy to have him lined up with them.

He is to me for now since there's no other option. The colors are close but I'm hoping they release a repaint of it somewhere down the line with more blue and yellow hues.

He's CHUG until we get a Legends one to match Beachcomber, Cosmos, and Warpath.

I mostly only buy CHUG styled stuff and I'm pretty happy with Seaspray as he is.

I'm certainly not going to include a RIDICULOUSLY oversized powerglide and exclude a moderately oversized Seaspray, so yes, he is included as far as I'm concerned.

I'm curious as to what your opinion is?

The third option was that Seaspray is a movie toy which is what the two of you said.

Probably the fact that it's a movie toy but not SOLEY intended for the movie line.

Option 3. Too big, wrong colors and wrong styling to fit in with my CHUG collection.

My custom painted ( not by myself) version is. Out of the box, though, I don't think he is close enough. The right colorscheme and a modified head make a world of difference

As a new mold in the HFTD move line, he's a movie toy to me, but with a much more "standard" scult that make him look not so movie-ish.

He fit very well with CHUG, and is therefore part of my Classics display. I also don't mind at all the hugeness of him and Powerglide, it's an interesting take on the characters to me.

He's about as Classics as Powerglide was, so close enough. He's not very movie, either.

He's on my CHUG display shelf so he's Classics IMO.

I'm going to have to say yes. If Powerglide counts, then so does Seaspray (I'm talking about the toys themselves....not the boxes they came in).

I would like to see any justification for how Seaspray isn't Classics but Powerglide is.
