Voyagers and deluxes are what I focus on. They fit very well eith each other. Most legends are too small, most leaders are to big. So I just buy the odd one, usually only one per mold. I really wish figures like leader Starscream and Soundwave (CW and TR) were voyager instead...
Curious if we will ever get some voyager class g1 chug seekers? I'm scared how much that would cost me if they did them all over again.
Pretty much just described my collection. Same here. But if someone else does more voyager seekers I'd have a hard time not getting them.
I'm putting together a large scale Decepticon display. Leader Seekers, leader Megatron, leader Soundwave, voyager Shockwave, titan Devastator, etc.
I forgot to mention, for Legends, I only go for the minibots or tape minions. If you look at some Disney character charts, designers follow the rule of various sizes and shapes: The rule applies to bi-ped animal characters as well: Then when we look at the G1 chart size, you can see something quite similar: Scaling aside, someone here made this years ago and it's rather interesting. I'm assuming he uses this chart for his collection needs. Now we get to Animated (I swear Bulkhead can appear smaller on-screen compared to his chart size): Sorry for the long post. Hope this helps!
Hah! All the Autobot cars would be scouts in that scale...and the minibots Legends/Cyberverse sized. Better to up the chart. Leaders: Optimus, Megatron, Shockwave Voyagers: Soundwave, Seekers, Ratchet, Ironhide, Trailbreaker Deluxes: Autobot cars, Constructicons, Reflector Legends: Minibots, Insecticons Legion: Recordicons
Actually i would agree with such a scale, only i'd want the cars at old basic size: gives them a bit more bulk.
Yeah I agree, that chart is quite off if we are going by toy classes. Most Ironhide and Ratchet figures come in either Deluxe or Voyager size, so I'd lump those guys in either of those two classes. In the end, you gotta take what you can get
