Got Prime in the mail today and took a break from studying for finals to shoot him up.

    Check it out:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=1724

Cant say much as my brain is pretty much fried from studding but this toy is indeed very awesome! I know a lot of people will complain about his back-end but in person its really not bad at all, hardly noticed it wile shooting and playing with him. Pretty much the same as the Classics Prime that way.

Great toy, awesome play and poseability, armed to the teeth, just an overall great toy, trumps Classics Prime by a long shot no question.

Unfortunately I don't have Classics Prime on hand (in storage) But they are about the same size, Movie Prime's a little taller though.

And no the back kibble is not heavy at all, like I said once you have it in hand you hardly notice it and it puts very little extra weight back there. The back kibble is very much like how it is on Classics Prime, I would actually say the back kibble on Movie Prime is better then on Classics Prime, it tucks away a lot better and looks cleaner.

Okay. This gallery clinches it. I'm getting this Prime.

I'm EXCITED about getting this Prime. :)

That makes at least 3 movie figures I'm excited about now. My anti-movie stance appears to be softening. :)

Too bad he has permanent open hands :(

Looks kinda silly holding guns. looks amazing without em, though.

I'm still not sure about any of the movie figures. Jazz looks amusing. Ironhide looks pretty good. This Prime looks better than decent. Compared to my Classics Prime? Hmm.... no. It's just not as good, especially with that enormous backpack. I think beyond design issues, what we're really going to have to look out for with this movie line is quality issues. A number of the toys just look cheap to me, and seem to be numerous steps backwards from say, the Classics or Cybertron lines. I'm willing to give them a try, though. The good thing about this version of Voyager movie Prime is that he's actually very different from his movie counterpart. Fewer flames, more armor, etc.. If I do pick this up, I'll most likely fill in the appropriate grey parts with red or blue paint to give him a more traditional flavor.

Awesome! As if I wasn't excited enough about getting this one, you just had to post more pictures!

He's slowly edging his way up my "must buy" list, right under Real Gear Booster X10.

    Good luck with those Finals.

why do the smokestack look wonky in the truck mode? this is on my list of "things to throw money at". i wish he didn't have the fake chest though... you know, the ones that looks like it's apart of his alt mode but not, like MP Prime abdomen grill thing and Titanium RID Prime painted wheel-on-shin thing. It's one of my transformer pet peeves. Thanks for the gallery though, and good luck with your studies
