Blue would be okay but there arent really any cars that come in this shade, and the bright sky blue missiles totally clash with the grey gun and the overall realism of the scheme.

Looks much much better in black IMO.

Decent looking repaint though.

 

Many wanted a Skids repaint into Ironhide for Alternators, but few (likely nobody, to be exact) wished for an Ironhide repaint into Skids for the movie line.

The movie line won't be available for Fun Publications to use for Botcon figures as a result of the extensive GM licensing.

 

Eh, I thought the original deco was perfect.

I might have bit on a red fanwank deco, but the original release is just too perfect to consider a repaint.

Darker blue would've looked nicer, but it's not bad. I'll stay with my black Ironhide though.

 

Looks like he's got something going on at the bottom of his doors. Mud, battle damage, paint job? who's to say, but it's there.

 

Dissapointed. Really really dissapointed. This mold looks so good in red. This blue repaint isn't even well executed. The baby blue marker lights look horrible. (and, wouldn't be street legal) What's up with the gray mirrors, and gray sploches on the doors?

The only thing that I like, is that they kept the toneau cover black.

 

I can get past the blue, my big problem is it's so blah. I mean it need some patterns to break it up a bit.

 

I like the color in alt mode, and the mud stains behind the front and rear wheels.

The bot mode is a meh so far, I really dislike the flat grey chest panel.

 

Shoulda been red just' cause...but also b/c it'll presumably be on the shelves with the blue/black Prime repaint, blue/gray Baricade repaint, and Thundercracker. That'sa lotta bluea. We gonna get a blue Swindle too?

G2 Go-Bots Ironhide (who was a gray pickup) was recolored into a blue pick-up named Motormouth! Hooray!

Definitely a nod to one of the most minor characters ever!

Wow... that is definently one of the ugliest repaints that I've seen for this line. Honestly, ALL the movie repaints are have been horrid IMPO so far with, perhaps, Thundercracker. However, his blue colors don't really fit in with the whole 'realism' asthetic from the rest of the line.
