I would be happy if it's just a straight up repaint of Universe Inferno, but I wouldn't mind for them to make a new missile for this launcher that looks like a Grapple Hook  

 

The good thing about it is that they can simply subsitute a crane-hook for the "water" cannon. I'll be good with that.

 

A slightly remolded and repainted Classics Inferno would be fine. It would have as much chance of selling as a new mold, and probably be a lot cheaper for Hasbro to design/produce.

I have a horrible, shuddering thought:
Gold & orange Demolishor repaint.

 

I think why we've are getting a Grapple figures because of the Hoist toy for the Toy R'us set with G1 Mixmaster.

 

With the TRU one being so close already (I'm presuming you're talking about GF Demolishor or Cybertron Mudflap) being yellow, I don't see it. Plus there's the whole Decepticon symbol still molded to him.

I don't think that's the reason. I think Hasbro had a Grapple repaint(possible remold) in the plans from the minute they started making a U2 Inferno. It just happened there wasn't time to get him out in U2 and Generations doesn't have a voyager pricepoint, so Grapple goes in the yellow packaging line.

 

Incidentally, Entertainment Earth uses the Generations name in their voyager assortment listings.
