I had thought that too, but it uses dollars, doesnt it? I suppose we'll find out. I do hope its a statside release, I rarely import. good point though.

Very interested in the possibility of a Voyager Sentinel Prime. I'm not overly-fond of Leader-Class figures.

 

That bugs me. Why is the nerf mavrick ok to sell then? its pretty much the same thing. is it an issue of size? megatron being closer in size to a real gun then the mavrick?

 

I honestly don't know. I don't agree with it but it is what it is. If you're willing to pay up, imhoo the united and henkei versions of megs look better anyways.

 

O i already have classic megs as it is. was just curious.
hope we find out whats in this set soon.

 

I hope the voyager sentinel prime is his cybertronian mode so I can add him to my primes shelf.

 

I think the G1 Prime and Megatron will be the classic boxset version

 

I really hope it's a G1 reissue of Prime and Megatron in this proposed Takara set. And I'm an optimist. However, if I was pessimistic, then I would say it could be the new legends G1 Prime and Megatron that came out.

 

That would be pretty cool, but I doubt that'll be the case. We've already seen a listing for a Voyager class firetruck.

 

I've heard this mentioned on the board a few times, but not very often, and people don't seem to raise an eyebrow when it's said, as if it's common knowledge. But I don't remember Hasbro actually saying this.

I asked on the TFWiki, and they said it's not that they can't release the mold again, but that if they did, the colors would have to be even more neon than they were in 2006.

But even when they said that, they still didn't say when or where this was mentioned. Does anyone have a source?

IMHO, it's obvious that the second one is - just like the BB/Starscream 4-pack - a legends release, with the new gunmode Legends Megatron and one of the previous movie Megatrons.

I generally want Voyager sized figures on my shelves. The problem is, I want Sentinel Prime to be a firetruck and have his accessories. I hope we get to see it before the line comes out in May. I'd much rather have a Voyager one.

 

I can't remember which one it was specifically, but I think it was either 2008's or 2009's Botcon, and it was definitely that no matter how ridiculously they would repaint it, they can't release the mold at all in the states anymore. Doesn't entirely make sense, but it came directly from Hasbro reps.

 

For me it's the Leader class figure in it's masterpiece form.

 

Voyager Sentinel Prime? Man, I'm gonna spend a LOT of money on these wonderous DotM Voyagers...

 

I can see some seriously cool boxart potential with these sets...
