at least if you buy it now, when they re-release it, the price stays   (besides, it only happen twice so far, and that with the same mold)

where as for the buster prime there's already 1 original leader, 1 black op, 1 buster, 1 buster with faceplate, and the upcoming jungle battle,

I would assume with that many release, it would drive the price down

Hmmm......

My pick would be the Defender only because I don't know how good the chrome is working on Buster Prime.(i.e. Scratched chrome, bumping chrome, etc.)

But it depends on what you like more. If you like the movieverse a lot, then go with Buster Prime. If you like Classics/Updated G1 looks, then go with the Defender.

Also, that Forest Battle Prime, I'm assuming you can rub off the "battle damage" with some alcohol. Assuming that you don't mind the battle hooks. Or the lack of a gun. (I don't remember if he has a gun or not, someone please enlighten me if he does.)

Chrome on my Buster Prime's been quite good. I got it just after it came out and haven't had any chipping/scratching problems or the like at all.

As far as I can see; he has no gun. The tanks on the side don't have any of the holes/panel lines for it.

 

I don't own either, but I have the Hasbro Leader Prime. I'd get Defender. He's a rarer Tf than Buster Prime, and you can get Hasbro Prime for half the price. I'd never spend 80 bucks for a TF cause I love to buy the cheaper ones, but if I ever did, Defender would be it.

 

Warbot by a country mile.

 

With the millions of Primes out there, I'd get the Defender. I did and am happy as hell with it. There is another Transformers movie on the way so this Prime isn't going anywhere.... And you may get a better version with the next release. They improved greatly on the first movies mold so it only stands to reason we'll see a bigger better prime in the next go round. Once Warbot Defender is gone, he's gone. And secondary market prices will SUCK!

 

Always Warbot Defender. I've seen sooooooo many primes I'm sick of seeing that style right now. I love my defender G1 lookin TF.

 

This poll is back open because now that warbot has been out for awhile i want to know if the hype has backed down and who is the legit one, I have already paid bbts for a warbot but am thinking about canceling it for store credit ?buster prime?

 

I say go with Warbot Defender. It's a great toy. There are a ton of Primes, and a ton more will be released. Springer/Warbot is a rarity, and a dang clever one at that. Besides, we'll probably see some kickbutt release of Prime next year with TF3.

 

For me, it's a no-brainer: Baybot, or geewunny goodness? I'm not a fan of the movie toys at all. Too fiddly, too ugly.

And I am no help at all.  

 

Like I said previously in the thread, Buster Prime IS the better toy.

I would only buy Springer if you like the character, like 3rd party figures and are okay with spending $90 on an unofficial deluxe sized Transformer.
