Springer.... Hands down. Buster prime isn't going to be the best Prime once the new movie is released.

Buster Prime, no question. Best version of that mold, and I would always go for an official HasTak product over "Third Party" anyday.

I have ROTF Prime (which granted isn't as nice as Buster Prime) and I have Defender. Personally for me, Defender kicks movie Primes butt any day. But that's also cos I prefer the "classics" aesthetic. So just ask yourself which one you like the most. Do you prefer the movie stuff? Or the more classic looking transformers?

I voted for Defender. Buster Prime will more than likely be re-released for the 3rd movie and Defender is the best Springer we've ever had.

I'd go for Buster. It's an amazing figure, and the gun and extra details added to the paint job Takara did make a great figure even better.

    Two guns.
And the articulated fingers and collapsing wheels shown on the proto.

Buster Prime is one of my favorite TFs of all time. Hasbros crowning achievement IMO. I've sold both my Hasbro Prime & Jetfire just to get the Buster. No regrets. However, I do think you should get Warbot first. I'm considering it myself because I think people are right in thinking the price can only go up.

Buster Prime: He has heels :)

I kid, but seriously; get him. It's one of the best Primes yet and among the top five (IMO anyway) of the entire movieverse line.

About the same height as universe cyclonus (maybe a scosh bigger). The vehicles however are on the large size for a deluxe. He's either a big deluxe or a very small voyager, kinda in between. If hasbro packaged this thing in helicopter mode, there's no question they'd sell it as a voyager. Car mode is a tough call (but leaning toward voyager), bot mode- deluxe.

He's an interesting toy. Definitely more solidly built than Hasbro product, and yet the vehicle modes feel a bit sloppy to me. Too many spaces and gaps and pieces that feel a little misshapen for what they're supposed to be.

This is a toy made by a company that cares more about quality than hasbro, but hasn't quite mastered building transforming robots as well as hasbro yet.

I'm glad I got it (and it's GREAT to finally have a worthy Springer), but this isn't close to a favorite Transformer for me. Buster prime is one of the best I have. (although concerns about price and availability down the line on warbot may be very valid- god knows it's impossible to get a classics Magnus and the armor now without spending at least $100- probably more).

I really don't care for any of the ROTF stuff save the molds that weren't in the movie (Like Bludgeon, Mindwipe, Lockdown, etc.), so I'd go with Defender. I'm biased though.

Buster Prime. Then again, I'm probably biased since I personally have zero interest in Warbot Defender whereas I love the ROTF Leader Prime.

i'd normally say buster prime, but the availability of warbot is a factor. i mean there's a bigger chance prime will be re released for the 3rd movie. Springer, however, is getting potentially more rare, being fan made and all (i don't think i'll be buying him though).

    buy both. but warbot first.

The Prime with hooks is a voyager. Not leader.

You're fooling yourself. Warbot Defender outclasses every toy on the market.

    this man speaks the truth.

You're crazy. Look at that figure. LOOK AT IT. If you're gonna spend 80 bucks, get Defender. It's a new mold, not a remold. I love Rotf Prime. It's a "Wow" figure, but seriously? It doesn't hold a candle to Defender.
