I need some help, i cant figure out wich one to buy, i've had my eye on buster prime ever since he was announced, i do not have any type of rotf prime at all.

the warbot defender looks ok on the forums but sometimes something looks better than it does on the internet or on the back of a box. Will warbot look better with autobot stickers?

help me out. anyone have pics of warbot all done up w/ some symbols?

Both are awesome, but I'd go for Buster Prime, because you don't own a ROTF Prime yet and this one is perfect.

Well, it depends, for me, if I were to spend that amount of money, I'd rather get something official. That's because I usually don't spend that amount of money...:)

Plus, from experience, ROTF Prime is an AMAZING figure. Very intricate transformation and perfect alt modes for both.

    Warbot Defender.

Neither Hasbro nor Takara are done with the leader prime mold yet, they'll improve on it in the future.

Buster Optimus prime for sure. He is a much larger figure, has a more complex (in a good way) transformation, and he is Optimus Prime.

What could they possibly improve on this mold? Have you seen it in person, It's damn near perfection. The gun transformation is genius. I have both and I'm telling you, you will have more fun and enjoy buster prime much more.

It's really not even a choice...

First thought I said get Defender because it is such an amazing figure and truly one of a kind. But, the ROTF Optimus Prime mold is one of the best figures of all time. Get the Buster...it'll serve you better in the long run.

I have both. Buster Prime is one of my favorite Tformers i own. Springer/defender is kinda cool (I wanted springer since I was a child I finally get to have a decent one), but there's no contest.

    I strongly recommend Buster Prime.

If you really need a springer in your collection go for the classics 2 pack repaint. It's not perfect but it fills the bill. I am having a bit of buyers remorse on the warbot. It's just too much money for a deluxe figure even if it's a really nice one.

It'll be interesting to see what happens there.

I have no doubt there will be variations for the third movie, but it would be tough to pull off meaningful improvements on this design without going to a full MP toy (and even then he's already nicer than some of my MP toys).

Look at the new Leader prime with the hooks. Unless Prime gets a major redesign in the next movie, are we really in for much beyond that? And if he is redesigned (we know at least some redesigning IS planed), we may be looking at an inferior toy because of it- look at the first Starscream, Prime and both Megatrons.

They MIGHT outdo this Prime, but I sure wouldn't count on it.

That leader prime mold is awesome but there will be more releases of it and it will be made in larger quantities. If you even think you want the warbot , get it now before the price goes up when its no longer in production.

That is a hard choice. But you shouldn't have to spend 80 bucks on something official. Maybe get Defender because it IS something different and Hasbro will probably never make a proper Springer.

I'm trying to make a similar decision on a pricey purchase.

Call me crazy, but The Warbot Springer doesn't really look like it should cost more than $20. I don't care about Springer at all, so I have no interest in this.

If I didn't already have the US RoTF Leader Prime I'd go with Buster. I'm even considering selling my US version and getting Buster.

Warbot Defender. He's moreso unique than Buster Prime.
