Depending on how you gauge the scale from the show, N scale Model Railroad figures would probably work if painted up as pilots for the GX-71. HO scale for the EX and the Legendary Defender.

For the Dianauts you need one of these

You might be able to fit a small pilot into the Lion opening for this speeder.

    Voltron LD Speeders:

Anyone know a good way to paint them?
I'd like to try, or commission someone to paint these with the pilot colors.

Didn't you just get the EX when they had that crazy sale last month?

May I ask why you are selling?

First time posting on TFW2005. I've been working on various modifications to my Legendary Defender Voltron (the 16" combinable version), including improved head articulation on the Black, Red, and Green Lions, and also a bit of jaw surgery on the Green Lion's underbite. I would love to improve Voltron's elbow articulation... has anyone tried to make such a modification?

Ultimately, I would love to shrink down those Red and Green Lions by about 20%, and then modify them so they extend a bit so they look less beefy and gorilla-like. Any suggestions here? Are third-party vendors working on this? Do I just need to design my own 3D printed version?

Wow, great shield modification! I may try a version of that as well. I used the photos you had originally posted for the Black Lion head and hip articulation mods to help me with my own modifications, so thank you for posting those.

Sorry to hear about that. I remember you posting the link and I passed on it. It was a sweet deal, but then I later found one for a few dollars more. I really love the set. He looks great next to my Iron Man Hulkbuster by King Arts.
    Freaking awesome!

Good luck with your sale and your car issues.

Looks like the Target toy deals start Sunday. 25% off one item, $10 gift card w/ $50 purchase, etc. I’ll probably cave and get the metal LD lions. It would be really cool if I could use both deals - then the net price would be under $45 after tax.

Likely done on purpose to avoid what IP laws exist in China. If you make enough changes Chinese law will not consider toys IP theft. So the company purposely swap limbs on the box illustration, knowing any fan of Voltron will know how to assemble it.

Meanwhile, I say we call him Tronvol, Universe of the Defender.

This? Yeah, I didn't know they were so similar until I put them next to each other.

As I recall Lepin often takes people's custom builds and releases them as sets.
