Though it may be Hasbro's musings only, the back of the carded figure says, "...battle in secret to destroy the evil forces of the DECEPTICONS. Little do they know that an even deeper threat is...". 'An even deeper threat'. Can we assume this refers to The Fallen, and then decide that The Fallen is an individual character and not a group not affiliated with the Decepticons?

I don't really know why TFW posted their Super Secret Inside Sources thing as news in that instance, since Simon Furman and Chris Mowry confirmed in separate interviews over a month before TFW that The Fallen was the villain of ROTF, based upon Furman's the Fallen from The War Within: The Dark Ages.

Furman went on to talk about The Thirteen (the first thirteen Transformers from the comics, which includes the Fallen), a big project for IDW and Hasbro in 2009. Potential spoilers: We currently don't know if Movie Fallen and comic Fallen are actually the same guys (like how there's only one Primus and one Unicron in all continuities of Transformers.)

About a week later on August 1st, Michael Bay and Paramount found out about these interviews. Both interviews were purged of all references to IDW having possession of the ROTF script, Arcee and the Fallen.

    Proof enough? :D

From what Simon Furman said at Auto Assembly:

They've got a guy named The Fallen showing up in the next Movie, they were doing their best to make the 13 miniseries encompass all generations. Sort of an origin story that can attach to the distant past of nearly any series. Not sure exactly how that might work out, but he implied that The Fallen is a singular character and the finalised version of the Primus / Unicron origin with the whole sealing Unicron and Fallen in a black hole in the Dreamwave era definitely implies a lot of "one Fallen, many realities" thing.

Guess we will know for certain in 2009, eh?
