Anyone else think Extinction is a better name over Volcanicus? Imagine this: Dinobots, combine! We are your Extinction!

 

It is a better name. But frenzyrumble used it for his custom dinobot combiner all those years back. Even if Hasbro were aware of it, I doubt they'd want to give his effort any kind of "credibility" or tacit approval by adopting the same name.

 

I'm aware of FrenzyRumble for sure... I was one of the people he failed to deliver on lol. (May Unicron devour him) But I do prefer the name.

Ditto on painting the hands and feet. They look great.

 

That's not a knife, this is a knife. I can dig Volcanicus having a giant skinner/bowie rather than a dainty little sword.

 

We got color pics for the PerfectEffect sets! These are both instant buys for me

 

Definitely in for this set.

I think I’ll pass on the hands and feet, though. The bigger feet really make his head look small.

 

The way Grimlock's dino head is now sunken in a bit into the torso goes a long way in making Volcanicus look like he doesn't have a T-Rex head boner on his chest  

 

It would be nice if they found a way for slash to interact but the taller grim is definitely a welcome change

 

I think after seeing a few of the Perfect effect parts. I'm going to get them for when i complete the dinobot set.

 

This upgrade kit urgently needs a new, bigger , more proportionate combiner head. Lmao.

I was thinking of calling Volcanicus , when i get the potp dinobots “Dynomight” (as in explosive power and strength)

Edit: forgot to mention the “Dyno” can not only mean power generation but also say Dino in Dinosaur or Dinobot

And the whole name Dynomight means the explosive by the name but, different spelling

 

I'm not sure if I'm in. Like the new parts in the dinos, they look like Dino Riders and that is awesome!

But don't see a considerable improvement in the combiner for the price. Combiners legs are skinny and head is small. I would like to see if they offer more pieces for the other Dinobots and how those pieces improve the combiner.

 

I love it, but it almost makes his chest look too big, and his head small by comparison.

The Crotchpit is amazing though.  

 

I think we got similar proportions from Combiner Wars Menasor as far as the head and chest go but I see what you mean.

 

If you thought that was amazing, you should look up Zone of the Enders. That's a whole different league of crotchets!

Yet the add-ons from Perfect Effect for Volcanicus are most welcome and awesome! I only wish that there were some way to conceal the legs of Swoop and Snarl when in combined mode, to give the appearance of stronger arms and elbows instead of those eye-sore legs acting as such. Still, it'll be a cool rendition of a dinobot combiner nevertheless.
