Okay, I thought this was an animated version video game at first and did a big WTF?!? over the VA's, but seeing it's based on the comics directly, I can live with the new VA's. Plus Ron Perlman rocks.

I can live with those voices.

I really, REALLY hope there are more Justice League Unlimited characters than just Green Arrow and Zatanna.

Awww. I know the actors I had in mind were just the actors for the animated universe, but it's going to be like nails on a wall hearing anyone but Kevin Conroy voice Batman.

However, the fact that Ron AWESOMENESS Perlman is Batman sort of...eases...the transition. Don't get me wrong, I think Perlman is fantastic. He's been the joy of almost every movie he's been in, and his voicework is awesome (my favorite performance of his is as Slade). But...but...but...for being a Batman, he's not Kevin Conroy.

As much as I love JLU and the whole Timmiverse, Im glad this game is based on the comics. Its just unfortunate that we dont get the Great Kevin Conroy to be The Man, but Ron Pearlman is awesome and he's been connected to Batman since TAS (Clayface, Killer Croc).

I agree that Ron Perlman is an excellent replacement. The list of voice actors who could do an okay Batman is VERY short, but Ron Perlman would be right up there at #2. #1 would be Kevin Conroy, and Rino Romano would not even BE on the list.

I suppose, Conroy's been doing it for 14 years. ANYBODY would get tired of a role after that long. And, I suppose if anybody was going to play Batman after him, Perlman would be the man for the job.

But I still think that, when I hear his voice in the game, even though it'll mostly be excellent (Perlman hasn't let me down ever), part of me will still miss Conroy as Batman.

And, Conroy has played Batman on Batman theme park rides before, and he's voice-acted Batman in the Batman 1 DVD's deleted scenes, so he's not 100% strictly just the Timmverse Batman.

Rino Romano wont even be a footnote in Batman history when "The batboy" series ends.

Conroy as Batman is the one thing I wish would survive even if the Timmiverse is completely dead. Hell, the man was Christopher Reeve's college room-mate. If being Superman's roomy dont make you Batman, I dont know what does.

...they were room mates??? I swear I heard all sorts of rumors, ranging from Robin Williams being Reeve's roommate, to Conroy being his room mate.

IMDB says that he "went to school with Reeve."

According to the wiki they were roommates. Even if they just went to school together I still think that its awesome. The most beloved Superman and Batman, at school together long before their super-hero roles.

I was happy and all until I saw the name Snowblind as a developer.

Didn't know it was just going to be another X-Men Legends, Champions of Norrath overhead boredom fest.

    Blargh.
