I believe most of your posts will be true, I hope so. I have a feeling that Ferrari will be Hotrod/Rodimus, and that monster engine will be Shockwave.

 

I think Superfund is Soundwave imo..

That head for hotrod looks like the red wreaker car...

 

That "Hot Rod" face reminds me of the design of what one forum member made for the contest. Slightly changed, but still...

 

Wow I never saw that before. I can see that firetruck being Ultra Magnus for sure. Man I hope him and sentinel come in leader class toys  

Say where did you get that picture of that LC Ultra Magnus? Is that a Takara-tomy varient?

 

that red head looks like bludgeon, look at the face on the inside it seems like a skeleton-like face. remember Red head =/= Hot Rod for sure, it looks to evil to be Ole' roddy

 

I'm inclined to say that Hot Rod face is actually a Decepticon's.

Why? The red eyes. The movies, with few, few exceptions, seem to follow the red eyes = 'cons, blue eyes = 'bots rule closely.

I see NO similarity in that red head and Hot Rod... and even less with Wheeljack and Einstein-bot.

That's not a bad presentation. But it's debatable just how much inspiration Bay and his creative team are drawing from past and present TF aesthetics.

 

About Hot Rod - the color scheme is similar and both have horns.
Wheeljack - I see great similarities with the opticale fiber hair of the Einstein bot (which I'm pretty sure will blink) and G1 Wheeljack's blinking ears. Also both have masks in front of the mouth and have blue eyes. Let's not forget that Wheeljack is a scientist so what better comparison than Einstein.

The red head definetly resembles Hot Rod/Rodimus... but I hope they alter the red eyes if it's indeed him. Red eyes on an Autobot? Not likely, considering Kruger's known passion for the franchise. And the red eyes don't stand out on a red body and head like that. It makes me think of ROTF Rampage a tad. Though looking closer, his eyes look almost white. That's better then red eyes.

As someone said in this movie forum recently, it's likely the firetruck is Ultra Magnus. That's a fantastic alternate mode for him, but not liking the red. But Hasbro, when they make a toy of Magnus, will likely redeco him into more Magnus-y colors.

I'm starting to see more of a resemblance with Wheeljack and Einstein, if they're indeed the same. No big problem with it now, but I'm still not too hot on organic-looking hair. Jetfire's metal beard was okay, but organic hair shouldn't be on a non-Pretender Transformer.

Never considered Sentinel as the monster 18 wheeler. Definetly see the resemblance... but not sure at all.

That massive thing with the Shockwave pictures definetly gives off a Cybertronian vibe, and reminds me of Alien and Predator. It could be a massive Decepticon.... but I don't think Shockwave is that big. He's probably only a little bigger then Megatron and Prime... and that tank thing in the comparisons is HUGE. I could see it being Shockwave's personal attack tank, but no idea what else.

 

I think photos trumps "He said" reports. The two confirmed characters is Shockwave and Silverbolt. As shown in the pics NEST is pointing guns away from the craft and Carly in its cockpit.

 

I'm not seeing red eyes in the "Hot Rod" picture. Just a white glow that appears red due to the surrounding colors and the poor quality of the picture.

 

Wait I thought that big truck was Megatron, not Sentinel Prime.
