    I did a search but all the discussions were for computers, I never actually thought about game systems getting infected by anything online because...well, I never had online play before ^V^;

    Is there virus protection available somewhere for the ps3? If I'm infected what do I do? I feel like a pansy :redface2:  Anything would be helpful, even if I'm reassured that everything's cool and i'm just a massive pansy >V>

    There is no virus protection. A virus could be made, but for the most part it would take a lot of time and effort to affect and gain so little when compared to a pc. Pretty sure any financial information uis stored server side and not on your system any way.

    If you're super worried then just avoid using the internet browser. Any virus thats tried to be uploaded via a game would be killed almost instantly.
