I just got an SD card and noticed I could put channels on it, if I put my VC games on the sd card and delete them on the wii does that mean I can't play them ever again or just gotta transfer them from the sd card to my wii?

I know there is plenty of space for the games on the system itself I'm just curious

You can re-download VC games as many time as needed, as long as they've already been purchased.

And yes.. You can transfer them to SD and back again without a problem.

I'm really hoping there's a future firmware update where you can play the games off the card... that's my one major gripe about the system.

That wont happen as your console is the only one allowed to use the game you downloaded. So its pretty much hard wired to your console, the sd card thing would simply be to save space if your too lazy to delete and re download or suddenly lose net connection

or for the day that eventually comes 6 or 7 years down the road when the virtual console server no longer exists but you still wanna play your games.
