I found the little fangry figure at the Target off of 7 near 7 corners. The one where you need to get that parking permit.

I think it has something to do with it's relative closeness to the metro.

 

Same with the Walmart in that area; as long as you are there less than 2 hours then there's no fee.

Sterling TRU had no wave 3. Toning that interesting at either of the Sterling Target. The Sterling and Dulles Landing Rosses and TJ Maxxes also had nothing interesting.

That walmart is a pain. You have to go up that tiny ramp to get to that odd parking garage. Then you have to go back down the stairs to get to the walmart. City living, I guess.

Thanks for sharing the TF sightings in NOVA area, I've been looking for the G1 head Dinobot set since last week at Chantilly area 2 Rosses, Marshall, TJ Maxx, but no luck. Hope to find one soon. I live at East Gate community, South Riding, VA. The area of your most frequent sightings. It would be great if you could keep an eye on those G1 head Dinobot at Ross.

Oh I live off Gum Spring on the western part of Chantilly so not that far from you. I don't know what the G1 head Dinobot is. Can you post a pic?

Also, I see you're a Tekken fan. I used to be REALLY into Tekken and played competitively nearly a decade ago. I miss those days!

I meant the Transformer platinum edition Dinobots with G1 heads (The TF AOE movie dinobots). It was sighted at some Ross in California last week. It would be nice if it hits NOVA Ross.

I got back to collect TF last year after I sold my boxed G1 KOs from my childhood 20+ years ago. It's really nice to see someone live close by who is also a TF fan and willing to share with TF community.

Boxed G1 KOs that were 20 some odd years ago? So Beast Wars?

 

They were KO box sets of Dino King, Liokaiser, and Road Caesar. All from old school Transformer Victory series.

It's good to see Combiner Wars and Titans return now. The evolution of 20+ years transformer toys history is amazing.

 

Nothing at the Sterling or Dulles Landing Ross/TJ. Sterling Target had Astro and Alpha along with two sets of wave 2. Sterling TRU didn't have wave 3.

Chantilly Target has one set of wave 3 titan masters plus an extra overboard after I bought my set. Also a couple Alphas.

... they were $22 each. Otherwise I would have bought Hot Rod & Twinferno. Guess I'm waiting til Target or Walmart.

There is actually quite a large community of us in the NoVA area plus a few lurkers I have run into on my hunts. You should keep an eye on the meetup thread and come to our next meeting. There was just one last weekend so it will be another month or so before the next one; probably after the holiday stuff settles down.
