    Hi all :D

I've been doing some digging around in boxes of old junk and I made some incredible finds! Old TF books!

First up are the 1986, 1987 and 1988 annuals:

Publised by Marvel/Grandreams, these books are mix of Marvel UK comic stories and text stories, with a few fact files, quizzes.

    Next up:

Ladybird storybooks! Most of these came with audio cassettes that I still have lurking around somewhere (I found two last week!). Looking at the complete list, it seems I am only lacking one of these books (Galvatron's Air Attack). Most of these were brought for me by my parents in 1985 and 1986.

    Finally:

Adventure books! You know the deal with these two, start at Page 1 and you get to decide where the story goes, with the bottom of each page giving you various options, and which page to turn to. I had a lot of fun trying out all the various 'branches' the story could take when I was a kid. I think I got these around 1987/1988 when a book wholesaler would visit all the local schools a few times a year. I was always on the look-out for TF books! :D

Had some good old fashioned childhood nostalgia reading through these tonight. :)

How can Beachcomber look so mellow even when fighting some giant monster.
(This is a rhetorical question, we all know)

Even so, Good find, I've never even seen the annual with Scorponok on the cover.

Thanks for the comments folks, I'm quite pleased at digging up those ones. They're in great condition, though some of the Ladybird books have some marks on the pages. The annuals are all in superb condition though, and even now the text stories like State Games still make for great reading. :D  Next mission is to try and round up all the tapes from the Ladybird books.

Nice. I still have the 87 annual from a trip to england when I was a lad.

In fact, I was just reading it to my son about a month ago.

Hook looks very surprised to see himself forming part of Devastator. :D

Also, the right pic does nothing to settle the 'Rumble/Frenzy is blue/red' argument!

Oh man, I had that Autobots' Secret Weapon book when I was a kid! (That was probably something I had long, long before I actually got interested in this stuff). All I remember was that Sunstreaker gets himself captured by Devastator, Sideswipe and.... was it some Dinobots? go to save him but get captured too. Anybody remember specifics of this? And technically the cover's not too far off on what happened in the book....

I used to have these read along book that went with a record, one was about megatron creating a tornado with a weather device and Optimus trying to stop him.
