Was checking out Seibertron and found this article about a new song that Vince DiCola has submitted for use in Revenge of the Fallen, like how Stan Bush pushed for Till All Are One to be in the first film. This is what the article says:

Vince has a song being considered for the new Transformers movie due this summer. The final songs have not been chosen yet. For Vince's fans and Transformer fans, I wanted to post the whole song as a free download and encourage those that visit Transformers forums and blogs to post the link to the song. We would like to spread the word that Transformers fans would like to have Vince's contribution to the new franchise.

And this is the link to the song:

Don't know if it fits with the movie, but I love Vince's music, and it's always a treat to hear something new from him.

Eh... I don't think I want that in the movie.

Sometimes I wonder why both Stan Bush and Vince think that just because they worked at the 80's movie they feel the duty to try to get in again.

This would be a very refreshing addition to the soundtrack, although the lyrics make me question if it would be out of place.

That first line made me jump out of my chair laughing.
Sorry, it's just kinda hard to take this song serious.

Doesn't seem too bad.... not sure if it would fit, but then again I'm not someone privy to the full edit of the movie.

I give it a 3 out of 5. Good, not the best, but IMO better than Til all Are One.

Good chord progression, good backing piano, nice beat that accentuates the slow pace of everything and makes the timing pretty trippy. I like it and it beats the hell out of anything that was on the first lamo soundtrack.

No freaking way. That's AWFUL. Almost as bad as that other whack ass group that tried to cover Lion's theme from the 86' movie. Uber pass.

Not the kind of thing I generally listen too, but I think it's pretty cool. Vocals aren't really my taste. I definitely like it better than that crappy Linkin Park track on movie 1.

Vince dicola - "bound and gagged"

    Sunday, February 22nd, 2009 7:48PM CST

On the forum of TDRS Music the following statement was made. Composer, Vince DiCola, best known for scoring the 1986 Transformers: The movie animated feature, has submitted a new track for consideration to be used for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Whether or not the track will be used is still unknown at this time. But the track entitled 'Bound and Gagged', which features the vocals of Rick Livingstone, is free to be downloaded now. The following has been directly taken from the post on the TDRS Music forum.

"Vince has a song being considered for the new Transformers movie due this summer. The final songs have not been chosen yet. For Vince's fans and Transformer fans, I wanted to post the whole song as a free download and encourage those that visit Transformers forums and blogs to post the link to the song. We would like to spread the word that Transformers fans would like to have Vince's contribution to the new franchise."

Bound and Gagged - Vince DiCola feat. Rick Livingstone.

Edit: I'm really sorry for posting this again I just read through and saw it already posted. Please feel free to either delete this or combine it with the other one thanks. -Gauge

Crap! Now I feel stupid for posting this exact topic again just now :(

Well anyway, I'm probably the majority on this but I like it.

I feel it's a great theme for "The FALLEN" since he was a ruler and all. :)

However, due to the fact most young people listen to that lame EMO trash, there's no way this is going it to make to the soundtrack.
